Good Friday Morning Peeps!! It is time for a Love in!!! Just give a shout out and let us know about someone who has inspired you, supported you or has helped you through this WLS journey! They can be a TMBer, a nonTMBer, a Docter, a bariatric coordinantor , a frienf..just anyone!! Just let us know a little bit of your story!
My shoutou this Friday is to my patient, kind, gentle and loving husband Ken. He has been right by by side through every ER and hospital visit. Has sat patientlty in so many OR waiting rooms and watched me sleep in recovery and hospital rooms. Made the long trips from Ft Worth to Arlington Memorial Hospital to be with me every day after being at work since 7am soo many times in the last 3 years! He has been my cheerleader, nurse, cook, fashionista, lover, and friend. He has stuck with me through thick and thin literally and the best guy a girl could have and I love him so!!
Meggie!!

I'll jump on the hubby bandwagon of love! Wow. That ended up sounding dirty.
My Friday love shoutout is for my Eric. It's kinda funny. He rescued me 8.5 years ago from the debilitating disaster my life was becoming and he's going to manage to do it again now. I still have days where I want to curl up under a rock. But ever since he's "gotten better" (doesn't seem fitting enough to put it that way) it's really been no holds bared from him. Going out and doing things, taking care of himself, stepping up to that plate even more - it's all really overwhelming to think I am deserving of this awesome man some days. And this is coming from a time when I thought I had lost him forever during treatment (not him physically, everything that made him HIM.). To go from being a shell of his former self to what he is today is nothing short of a miracle. I'm sure the betrayal from the days I didn't think we would make it will still make me cry as time goes on. But we are gonna make it, and we're going to do it together because our needs are really simple - just all of our love, for all of our life.

I will join the shout-out to my husband as well.
My husband Charles has been very supportive of my WLS journey. I had complications and ended up back in the hospital for a month and he was there everyday trying to cheer me up and spent many nights sleeping on a roll-away in my room He took me to my weekly Doctors appts for test which we thought would never end.
I could not have made it through the rough start without his love and support.
