Woohoo Wed!!! WLS Express!!
Well, my woohoo as of Monday my nutritionist has me weighing at 196.8 fully clothed which would put my actual weight at 191 putting me 31 pounds to the low end of the weight range I want to be at. I still need to work in getting all my vitamins in daily and I need to return to my exercise program and start training for a 5K run for the fall I want to be able to complete a 5K run with a good time. Overall, I am healthy and still losing weight need to boost my activity level some more to maintain my weight-loss to reach my goal before my one year anniversary of my surgery in October. Which I believe can happen. Thank you all for the support and info. I should have some new recipes to share with the TMB here with in the next couple of weeks. I need to write down the measurements for the ingredients.
I realized that with all of my doctor's appts in the past couple of days - that they are using a "regular sized" blood pressure cup to take my bp....................no more of the days that the nurse runs in and then back out the room to get the "bigger" cuff to measure it with !!
AND...
I don't have to use the handicapped sized bathroom anymore.......DAMN !! that feels good - no more waiting for that ONE stall in the walmarts or the malls !! lol
have a great day !
- Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose. Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email. I'll answer it as soon as possible.
