Justify Your July Wednesday

Okay...I'm off on a trip for 5 days which is always challenging.  I'm not gonna worry a lot about what I eat.  I will get in my needed protein and vitamins/supplements and liquids, which helps somewhat keep me on track for the eating.  Thank heavens I can't eat too much at a time.

My plan for today:
120+ oz. liquids
protein coffee
Atkins shake
? for lunch...will be on the road
Special Clay burger for dinner...yeah!
Maybe decaf skinny SBUX and/or McDonalds sf iced vanilla coffee

Blew my plan yesterday! Could not stop eating! Iwas starving all day and nothing filled me up!! But today is a new day and there are new choices to be made

yogurt/bariatric protein cereal
some sort of sammich
protein cinnamon pretzels
nachos
steak,rice,veg for dinner
fruit

I'm right there with ya Karla!!!  Going to have my Click this morning and then well the next 5 days will be what they will be.  I will be back on plan Monday until we set sail in September!!!

I'm still having a lil trouble with wanting to "graze". I figured out I'm using my "pain pills" as an excuse-can't take then on an EMPTY stomach-right??? Soooo..today I'm going to try to SCHEDULE my pain around my meals...

Pushing the water, of course-NOT hard to do these days!!

  • Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose.  Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email.  I'll answer it as soon as possible.

  • Current Weight:  263  
  • As of 11-10-13 I have had weight gain.  Not happy about that.

 Morning Karla,

I look forward to seeing you on saturday !!!   UGH I hate birthday weeks !!!!   My eating is way off and has to stop !!!!  I am going to make good decisions today.   MIL now wants to take me out to eat for my BD.   UGH....i dread all the going out to eat.   I would rather just eat at home where I am in control of how the food is prepared.   LOL   Oh well....it only comes once a year.    LOL   Today I am going to make good decisions !!!   Coffee down.....about to take my vitamins.....then protein shake.    Not sure about lunch....but probably turkey roll ups with mustard.   I am going to make sure to get in all my liquids and make great choices.    Hope you have a safe trip and you enjoy Clay's burgers tonight.   I bet they are as yummy as his BBQ !!!   Love ya and will keep you in my prayers today as you travel to Rowlett.

I have no idea what today will bring past breakfast. I'm waiting on delivery of a new washer and ice box so everything in my kitchen is a mess right now. So far I've had my regular chai tea and cottage cheese. Today was SF French vanilla with fresh strawberries. I am really enjoying strawberries!

Lunch.....deli meat/cream cheese rollup
dinner....who knows!

Have any of you had Sugar Melons? They were next to the canteloupes so I got one to try it. The name sure fits....it's sweet! Has a mild canteloupe flavor and way sweeter. I don't think I'll be buying another one, I really prefer regular ol' canteloupe, plus I wonder how it is sugar-wise. So far I only react to high carbs and out of proportion carb/proteins.
