Saturday WLS Express- DON'T Forget location change for group today!

Good morning! I am up WAY WAY too early for a Saturday. I will probably doze back off in a few. I wanted to remind you locals that come to support group that we have a new location- Central Market. I'm so excited. I have no idea what they have in terms of food, but I'm excited about a change. As they say, change is inevitable, except from a vending machine!

Yesterday another lady and I made and served about 70 smoothies to the fraternity boys that were there to play wheelchair basketball and raise awareness of people with disabilities. Every year those boys are SO nice and appreciative. They were excited about the smoothies and protein bars they got. Its all part of Push America Journey of Hope if you want to know more- http://www.letsride2010.com/ -they travel from San Diego to Washington DC on their bikes and its a neat story. My back and my foot aren't too happy about me standing for 3 hours straight but I plan on resting today!

I am working again today on refinishing my dining table.  I got started right after lunch yesterday because I walked/ran first, then went to Lowe's and Walmart and by the time I got home it was 10:30.  I put everything up and it was almost time to cook Ben's lunch.  It was so hot then that the stripping gel was drying before I could scrape it off so will start first thing this morning to get that finished and then sand, stain and varnish.

Change is good !!!   We are not going to have our breakfast at Bayley's anymore.   They royally messed up last month with us.   I won't go into details but they server and the manager were both so rude we won't be returning there !!!   I have walked....gone to Kohls and taken my vitamins and had coffee down this AM.   I was actually out of the house before 7 AM....actually I was at Kohls at 6:50.   LOL    Hope for a great day except for the heat.    UGH I wish we would get some relief.    Maybe next week sometimes.    Praying for Phyllis....Michelle.....Stephanie....and anyone else that I have forgotten.    Special prayers for my friend Rose who lives in Bakersfield....I need to call her.   She had her arm done for the 3rd time on wednesday.   Have a blessed weekend and have fun at Central Market.
