I would like to send out some love to my first Roomie the brave, courageous, sweet and very fashionable Lynnette! I got to know her here on the TMB during her very courageous and very public fight for her dear brothers life after his WLS. Then got to know her personally as her roomie during my first OH convention in Houston. She is every bit as genuine as she appears and is a great inspiration to keep your head up, keep thinking positive and keep fighting the good fight!

I first met Yvonne in 2004. She inspired me THEN and continues to do so NOW, both as a WLSer, and as a PERSON.

Should ever decide to grow up, and be nice, I want to be like YVONNE.

She has done things for me, both publicly, and personally, that I can never pay back. She is REAL-something hard to find.

Just last night I re-read my profile which I haven't done in a VERY long time and in my "one year" post I thanked Gina and Dana for their constant support. Guess what? At 3 years out I STILL need to thank Gina and Dana cuz they are still here for me. I love you girls!!

There are so many people for me to thank and love on! You guys don't know how encouraging it was for me to come to my first TMB dinner in my wheelchair and feel so welcomed that I never felt embarrassed.

Gina you continue to inspire me with your determination to continue to make your tool work and continue moving toward better health.

Meggie your attitude through your many trials just blows me away.

Danni is the sister I never had before and I can't imagine my life without her in it (even from across the country).

Jeff has been an incredible support and help during my journey, and I know for a fact I couldn't have made the progress I have without his love and patience.

Charlene you are a shining light and I miss you so much! No matter what is going on in your life, you always have a smile, hug and word of encouragement and that is such an incredible blessing.

There are many, many more who have encouraged and inspired me and I'm so thankful that I found this group when I did.

Meggie....so many on the TMB and on some of the other message boards inspired me during my journey and still do. You inspire me on a daily basis with all the things that you have gone through and yet you still remain so positive. Don't know that I would be as positive as you are if I were in your place. Also my friend Carla Burge. She occasionally gets on OH. Her journey has been a tough one but she keeps keeping on too and has doing a great job with her RNY. Love you guys !!! Have a safe and fun vacation Meggie. We love you and Ken !!!
