Sharing some news

a little late maybe....

I made Student Services Ambassador in my class, along with another girl.  I guess it's equaled to a student council type of classification. 

Um last Tuesday, I had a panni done.  Follow up was today, drains are still in. Maybe they will be removed next Friday. 6.5 lbs was removed.  That was more than what my first born weighed.

Congrats on the Amdassadorship. Hope all goes well with your surgery. I have a good size panni now. I can  but do not want to imagine what mine will be like after I am at goal. Did you have one before. What type original surgery did you have? Did you have problems with hair loss?  Keep me up to date on your progress.

I had lapband back in 2007.  The panniculectomy went well, it happened on 7/6. I did have some hair loss before and still do but not like before.  Thank you for your kind words.

Keep a record of rashes, and any kind of trouble you experience regarding your panni, it will come in handy!!

I had my RNY in 2004.  A year and a half ago I had a tummy tuck and butt hike at UT SW medical School Plastic Surgery Residency Program.. it was $6,300.  They didn't tighten up my muscles like I wished they had but I'm not unhappy. They got rid of 16 lbs.  I had no clue I had that much hanging front and back.

It was self-pay.

may I ask what were the qualifyers to get it done at UT SW? I may run out of insurance before I am ready to have mine done and it is a must - I see $6300 as VERY doable.
