How did you all do this past week.            Well - I'm still litterally hanging in there......
bouncing like a yo-yo................

Highest Weight:  350+
Consult weight:  338
Surgery day weight:  319
Last weeks weight:  220
Todays weight:   218  (if I saw those numbers correctly)
Loss for the week:  =2lbs (ill take it)   =  120 lbs lost.....

So I'm maintaining and up and down...just can't get back off of the 220  - I really want to get back down to 199 by the cruise !!.. but whatever will be - will be...

Good LUck
  • Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose.  Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email.  I'll answer it as soon as possible.
  • Total Lost:  139 lbs

  • As of 11-10-13 I have had weight gain.  Not happy about that.

I was down a bit on Sunday morning then back up to where I was last week - no surprise after yesterday - yikes!  Had my cottage cheese for breakfast and lots of protein to get me through my long day.  I should get enough exercise this week running up and down the stairs on my latest project at work.

This is my first time below 150, which was my original goal weight.  I'd love to say this number is the result of briliant nutritional strategy and fierce discipline.  The truth is I have no idea why I am suddenly losing again.  But I'll take it.

I have a new goal.  I hope to get down to 145 with my excess skin removal surgery tomorrow.  That will put me at a NORMAL BMI for the first time in my life.  Wish me luck, peeps.  :)

I've changed my official weigh in day to Mondays so I can play with ya'll! That...and I've decided to drop Weigh****chers. I don't follow their plan so using their food journal is useless. I used to get alot from the meetings, and I do enjoy the friends I've made there and their support, but the messages are repeating and there's just notmuch there anymore. Plus I can use that $$ elsewhere. So I've decided to drop it and concentrate more on the local support groups. I've also quit monkeying with the menu! I think I was trying to change too much at one time so I went back to my 900 cal a day, the 40/30/30 ratio and I'm starting over....I'll change one thing at a time. That 2 miles a day walk to start with and I'll see where to go from there.

Yahoo! I'm back in Onderland but I'm not going to scream it from the rooftops until it stays there awhile!

I've been on a yo-yo a couple of lbs for the last two months. I need to get on the straight and narrow cause I want to lose another 40 lbs. The honeymoon phase is over and I'm really having to use lots of self control to eat my protein first and not to add rice, pasta and potaotes back on the plate. Wished I wasn't cooking for the family sometimes! Been losing inches and really proud of my size 10 clothes!
