Support Group Starter? Round Rock
Anybody interested? I've tried before to get one started and I am going to try it again!!
If you are in Georgetown, Round Rock, Hutto, Cedar Park, Taylor, surrounding areas, let's get together.
I can attest that nothing compares to the groups in DFW.
Kudos to the Collin County Group, Rise and Shine, Bailieys and other impromptu get togethers.

You know I am definitely interested in starting a support group in our area. I am sorry I have not been around much this week. I have been busy this week at work and starting my master degree program. A strong support network is key to success. I would have responded sooner but it has been a busy family day.
Nina....good luck to you this time. Maybe it will work now. I know that you will be a great OH support group leader. Have you done your training yet?? I know once the word gets out you will have lots of people wanting to join you at the meetings. Good luck sweetie !!!

Vivian Prouty Obesity Help Support Group Coach "LOSE IT 4 LIFE"
Once the word get's out of a support group in the Austin area I think a lot of individuals will want to come and join the fun. I have a appointment with my nutritionist on the 19 th I will have her put the word out to some of her other gastric bypass patients. I know one gentleman out where I work you had his gastric bypass not long ago I will try to get in touch with him and get him to join in both with the support group and OH TMB. Also there is a regional park just up the road if we want to have a group walk/jog/or run. I am committed to helping make the support group in our area to materialize.
Good luck on the group thing, Meximelt .. There are apparenlty a lot of WLSers in that area of Texas, but for some reason they seem rather loathe to want to join support groups down there . 
We have a gal on the DS forum in the Austin area who has been trying for a long time to get one started down there for the DS folks (of which there are many locally), but no one else seems interested ..
