Good morning! Its looking to be a rainy day but that's okay- I'm not sweet enough to melt. lol

BIG NEWS- got a second opinion on my foot because I've been in alot of pain. I'd been getting better with some pain but the last few weeks I've been miserable. Well, turns out one of the 4 screws the doc put in has shifted when the bones were healing/fusing back together and its sticking out below the bone. This is causing it to hit a nerve everytime I take a step. I have to have the screws removed. ONE more surgery- grrrr.... but this time he said that its a small incision and I can walk out of the hospital in my boot and return to work in a few days. He promised me its not that big of a deal. So we'll see. I will get it scheduled today when the office calls me to let me know when he's available. Meanwhile no more PT because it was just aggrivating it, turns out. I'm glad I got a second opinion.

ALISSA-I would think hitting a nerve with each step would HURT!! Glad you sought that 2nd opinion and got some answers

 Alissa.....sorry that you will have to have another foot surgery but it is good news that it won't be a biggie !!!!   Hope this stops that pain for good and you will be able to heal in no pain.

TGIF, my family. Hope everyone has some kind of plans that suit them. I have an agency hospice case scheduled for 8pm-8am tonight and tomorrow night and sure hope it pans out

Yesterday's work day was very frustrating. It seemed like everywhere I went I wound up "taking one for the team" and trying to fix someone else's crew us. I don't mind mind fixing MY screw ups, but sheesh...I'm going to have to start seeing another nurse's patient every morning till we get his meds straightened out...sigh...*****moan....Where IS that Fairy Godmother? I gave up on the Sugar Daddy long ago...

Continued prayers of healing for STEPHANIE, prayers for MICHELLE as she prepaperes to come home, and prayers for all the unspoken needs

TGIF!!!  Wooohooo!  Not much going on here, work today, plodding through lots of projects and learning some new stuff I'll be doing after I get back from maternity leave.  Don't have any firm plans for the weekend, which I think I'm going to enjoy.  I've finished one cross stitch project and restarted another one.  I'd really like to make something for the nursery but need to buy some software so I can make the pattern.  It's been nice getting back into the cross stitch and finishing projects up always makes me feel good.

Good morning!  Since all my days for a week or so here are my weekends since it's summer I seem to lose track of what day it is.

I made an upholstered headboard yesterday and have to clean up my mess from that today.  It was almost bedtime by the time I got it done.  Today I have a few little sewing projects to work on if I have time.

Prayers for Michelle going home and all others who need them.

Today is going to be a very good day...but the weekend part is going to suck BIG time...my plane leaves tomorrow at Noon.   We have had a wonderful time together, and cant wait to see him again soon.  He plans on coming to GA in August for my birthday.  Bridgette (fur child) and I are continuing to bond together as her 'Aunt Norma'. 

Doing well on my all liquid diet, but I am getting a little hungry in the evening.  Ane you know what that means.....the temptation to cheat.  I have been somewhat good.  I have not eaten anything real heavy like a full meal, but have had watermelon, grapes, 2 oz of cheese, and a hand full of chips(bbq type).  I am trying really hard to stay on this becuase monday I go for my final weigh in and I have to lose 5 POUNDS!!  I am also testing the waters for the pre-op liquid diet pryor to surgery.  I pray I lose the 5 lbs and get my surgery date!!  All prayers welcome!!
