I've noticed that the last few times that I've used this in my coffee -  it seems to be bitter...
I definately like the s/f  vanilla better...........

Am I using too much maybe?

Hmmmm......Phyllis I think that maybe you may have gotten a bad bottle.   I think I would return it for another.    I use that alot too and you are the one that got me started on it.   I use quite a bit too but have never  noticed a bitter taste.   DO you think it could be your coffee being bitter and not the coffeemate??   Just a thought.     I think I would return it if you think it is the coffeemate for another container of it.   Good luck !!!

Try putting a pinch of salt in your coffee grounds before you brew your coffee. It really helps with the bitter taste as well.

My recommendation for anybody serious about coffee use filtered or bottle water when making your coffee. Starbucks and the other coffee shops use filtered water when brewing their coffee. If your creamer has a bitter taste then it is bad. I have not been using creamer in my coffee I strictly been sticking with skim milk and using the sugar-free flavoring syrups. Right now, I am working on a recipe for sugar free vanilla iced latte. I am trying to fine tune and looking to use a little sugar free vanilla coffee creamer to get the right taste to me. It took me a month to find the right coffee to use as my base. Yes, it would be easier to get my coffee fix from Starbucks or McDonalds but I like to watch money and sometimes when I buy my coffee from either place it does not taste right to me. Since we have ever changing taste buds it would be easier for me to adjust my own coffee as my taste change.
