Good morning MEGGIE and all! Still feeling lazy here-am "on call 12n-5pm and actually HOPE I get "called out". How sad is that? I like a routine, and being off this weekend has messed up my internal clock and my "rut"-not to mention my eating/drinking. SALTY foods have been my trigger-as always...sigh....I know, I know, it's not BRAIN surgery...sigh...have been upping the water even MORE, but can only drink so much...
I hope everyone had a un and SAFE holiday yesterday and no fingertips got burnt off. They had a community fireworks show at the football stadium-with band music-a few blocks from my house, so we sat on the tailgate of the tuck-in our driveway-me in my gown and socks-and watched/listened. Aww...life in a small town!!

We Can Do Hard Things
Today since we are not going to the water park, I think a trip to the gym is in order, then I have a meeting to go to later today. That and really working on my fluid intake. I have slacked the past few days, but I have my tea made so I should be good for a while.
Confession time: I didn't track what I ate this weekend and I snacked. This is the first time I've really done that since surgery 10 weeks ago. I know that these are two things that are very important to do and not to do, respectively. And, I'm going to get right back on track today. I have no excuse (although I have several that my head wants me to write here!) and will stop this behavior right now!
I also am going to the gym today and going to do an hour of bike!
Other than that, need to go to the grocery store to get ready for the week and do the mountains of laundry that have been piling up since I've been travelling a lot lately.
