Good Morning Train!

WOOOOOHOOOOOO and TGIF!  I'm in the office but I'll be skipping out before noon and ready to call this week DONE!  No plans here, but that's the way I like things, we'll either join in with what the kiddos are doing, or just find something to go do on our own...

Prayers are going up for all that need them!

So tell me, should I keep adding the links to youtube videos of the songs?  I was out there surfing around and found lots of oldies that I'm dying to play!  LOL Here's the Stampeders' Sweet City Woman. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IRjl3SWC2U&feature=related

Well, I'm on my way, to the city life
To a pretty face that shines her light on the city nights
And I gotta catch a noon train
Gotta be there on time
Oh, it feels so good to know she waits at the end of the line

Swee-ee-eet, sweet city woman
I can see your face, I can hear your voice, I can almost touch you
Swee-ee-eet, sweet city woman
Oh, my banjo and me, we got a feel for singin', yeah, yeah,

Bon c'est bon, bon bon c'est bon, bon,
Bon c'est bon, bon, bon, bon, bon
Bon c'est, bon, bon bon ci'estbon, bon,
Bon c'est bon, bon, bon, bon, bon
So long ma, so long pa, so long
Neighbors and friends

Like a country mornin', all snuggled in dew
Ah she's got a way to make a man feel shiny and new
And she sing in the evenin', oh familiar tunes
And she feeds me love and tenderness and macaroons

Swee-ee-eet, sweet city woman
I can see your face, I can hear your voice, I can almost touch you
Swee-ee-eet, sweet city woman
Oh, my banjo and me, we got a feel for singin'

Da da da da da da ...

Swee-ee-eet, sweet city woman
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet city woman
Swee-ee-eet, sweet city woman
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet city woman
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet city woman
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet city woman
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet city woman
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet city woman

Ya'll have a great day my friends!

Good morning! This has been a crazy and LONG week. Yesterday I overslept big time which threw my schedule off totally. I watched the kiddos 2 doors down last night. I had a 1,3,and 5 year old from 6:00 on and then the 9 and 11 year old came home around 9pm. Chris was a helper too. It was fun but I'm exhausted! I'm used to 1 kiddo. lol.

Its not a long weekend for me. WIth the state if a holiday is on a weekend we don't get the next day off or anything. I am going to be home Monday until 1pm or so because I'm working a camp up in Denton from 3-10pm Monday and Tuesday. The camp is for 16-17 year olds who are visually impaired and they work all day in jobs around the community and then at night we do activities for them. Should be fun.

I hope to see you all at Rise N Shine tomorrow!!!

Today is a regular work day for me...as the other full time person is on vacation today.  The two of us are the only full time employees, so I feel lucky that my hours have not been cut any more than they have.

But tomorrow my vacation begins...and will be flying in to DFW early Saturday afternoon, and it will be wonderful to see Don again. I know it has only been since very early June since I saw him, I miss him
BIG time.  One of these days, I hope that we can make it to Rise and Shine, but it will definitely not be tomorrow.

The one thing that is on the agenda this weekend is making Liz's infamous Pecan Pie.  No surprise there, huh Liz??

If any one is traveling this weekend, please drive safely.

Good morning.  I have lots of quilting to finish today.  That's my main goal for the day.  For the rest of the weekend, no special plans this year.  I am cleaning house tomorrow and Sunday will be SS and church, then dinner and fireworks at my sister's Sunday evening.

Prayers for all who need them.

have a great Weekend for the 4th of July!

Morning everyone!  I'm off today, yea! washing clothes and packing to get ready to go to AR today to celebrate my grandfathers 88th bday!!!  He is so precious, walks 3 miles a day and can kick anyones tail in ping pong or dominos.  So, it should be a lot of fun.

After this weekend, I hope not to go anywhere for a couple of weeks!

Happy 4th everyone!!!!
