Continue to keep your thoughts and prayers for the members of our Armed Forces serving around the world, especially during this time of increased awareness. Please thank God for these men and women every day. In addition, please keep the wives and family members in your thoughts.

Cajungirl (Dana) requests prayer for her family for guidance, peace and understanding during a current family situation. Also, her sister will be undergoing surgery on 6/8 because her Titanium plate broke. Also, an added, unspoken concern.
Gina L. - Requests prayer for Baby JJ (her great-nephew). JJ's 2nd tumor was removed and starts his second round of Chemo soon. His Daddy graduated from HS last week! Also add Bill to the list. He has been having gallbladder symptoms/problems and she is trying to get him to the doc.
Jennifer - prayer for the sale of their house in San Antonio. It has been 11 months now and there are some glimmers of hope sometimes, but others not so much.
Kim G. - has doctor's appointment for endoscopy.
Michelle S. - Michelle's mother's second round of chemo starts week of 6/7. Her uncle has been moved from hospice to a nursing home. Her Dad is having a hard time dealing with it all and sometimes his actions hurt the ones he loves.
Nina - Pray for cousin, that he be guided in the right direction with his marraige. Also a close friend is struggling with some inner demons, needs lots of prayers!!
Norma - prayers that the contract comes smoothly for the house.
Phyllis requests prayer for her co-worker Norma B. who will be out of work for 3-4 months. She has loss the use of her right hand, unknown for how long now.

Today is day 2 of being back on track and I feel great! I know it's mostly mental right now, but I feel more energetic and not as weighed down. I feel in control and that's a good feeling. Now, I just need to see results in a week to know my efforts aren't for naught.
We received an email from our Realtor earlier this afternoon that there have been three requests this week to lease our San Antonio home. We never wanted to be landlords, but based on how the market is and the lack of activity to date, we're gathering information to consider it. We can't lease it out for what it costs us to own it each month, but spending just a couple hundred $ a month will be better than several thousand. Please pray that we make the right choice and if we do decide to lease it out that we get good renters.
Today is kind of my "Friday". I'm not coming into the office the rest of the week, but have a few conference calls and whatnot to take care of. Michael's sister's family is here visiting us and I'm taking time to spend with them.

Today is my Friday !! I start my vacation tomorrow - actually I need to start packing tomorow sometime. gotta get through tonight's work and then off work completely from all 3 jobs until July 6th I"m gonna get so bored !! NOT !
Joey got the oil changed today and the tires rotated...etc.....so that is done and won't take up my time tomorrow.
He is working a few hours today and tomorrow......... I'm gonna squeeze in lunch sometime tomorrow with an Irving friend tomorrow and then home to pack and tidy up a little.
Got my lists made and we'll go from there. Planning on heading out EARLY on Thursday morning - just don't have a clue what time yet.
