Good afternoon.  Things are good.  Life is good.

Woke up early today due to making a move in the bed and had a sharp pain in my arm.  So, now I have an appointment tomorrow morning to have it checked out.  It gets worse each day.  I hope they can get me taken care of.

Not much else going on.

Just a reminder, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  AND SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Hey George!!! You are right.  Life is good.  There are so many things that could go wrong, but I have nothing to complain about.

Sorry about your pain.  I hate to inform you... but it is called OLD AGE LOL..  All jokes aside, I hope you feel better soon.

I pulled a muscle in my lower back.  I went to the doctor Tuesday night thinking I had a kidney infection.  I was surprised when she said it was a muscle.  I got some good medication to take when I am not at work.  It already feels so much better.

I have two hours left here and then I think I am going to go home and take a nap.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Actually, when I last saw the doc, he said it was not the rotator cup, but it might be bursitis.  It is getting worse every day.  Hurts to raise my hand above my shoulder.

That's not good.  You can't take anti-inflammatory meds.  What did he say that you could do for it?

I have bursitis in my hip. I gave in and got the cortisone shot several years ago. It was a godsend!! I have twinges now and then but nothing like before. Before I would cry getting in and out of my car, pulling up my pantyhose and such. And if someone touched it they were lucky if they didn't get decked... I haven't had anything like that since the shot.

Mine doesn't hurt when I put my pantyhose on, but it does bother me even to use that hand to put a baseball cap on.

I got two cortisone shots back in January, and that is when I gained 20 lbs.  Steroids will do it to you every time.  If that is the only thing I can do, I will suffer with the pain.  I am not gaining any more.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

OMG girl...I have it SO bad in my right hip/leg.  I went through a month and a half of physical therapy in April and May.  JUST had an MRI on it this week.   Of course, the doc wanted the MRI a month ago but good ol' "insurance knows more than my own doctor" rules meant I had to wait until "big brother" reviewed it and felt it was medically necessary.  When they finally got around to reviewing it, they eventually said the MRI was medically necessary.  That burning feeling is awful and don't EEEEVEN try to press on it without feeling like you want to jump out of your skin!  WAAH!  He gave me a shot initially but it didn't do anything so don't want any more of that.  I had the immediate weight gain from it too which SUCKED!!!
