Officially submitted to insurance

Finally!  I got email from doctor's office today letting me know they sent papers to insurance today.  There was a hold up waiting for one piece of paper from my primary doc.  So, now it's official......just waiting for Aetna to say yes!

 Betsy.....if the submitted it to Aetna this AM I would call Aetna tomorrow to see if anyone has looked at it.   It took them not more than a hour to OK mine.   When I called Aetna...they told me that I was approved then I called the surgeon's office to get a date.   Just a FYI for you to ponder.    Good luck and I hope you have a speedy approval also like I did almost 5 yrs ago.

That is great news now your one step closer in your journey of a new you. I would follow Vivian's advice call Aetna today and find out if they have made a decision and if they approved you call your surgeons office to set the surgery date. I hope they tell you your approved. Good luck
