Onderland!!!
I did it! I found out the lady in the dive shop, who had lap band a coiuple years ago, had a scale in hwer office so yesterday morning before breakfast I weighed...196.4! I felt like I had lost this week but now I know I'm firmly in Onderland! Yesterday was a big day for ma all around....not only hit Onderland, it was my 9 month surgiversary and I did my 1000th dive. I'm celebrating by taking the day off.
As you can tell, I'm still in Roatan. It's been a challenge to stay on plan while here. There's been basically good choices available but even the grilled fish and chicken are slathered in butter. I've had to increase my carbs to cover the extra exercise but I've mostly stuck with lots of veggies and 1 pc of toast for breakfast. Getting in my vits. and proteins has been eaqsy once I worked out a schedule...my day here starts at 5am instead of 10am at home!
The first week it was sort of nice to see everyons's reactions to the new me...they haven't seen me since last May. And I didn
t really mind the comments all week about how much I had changes, how they hardly recognised me, etc. But the total strangers who came up and commented "Are you the lady who lost 150lbs?" That was just rude and got on my last nerve! Now I know what ya'll talked about getting tired of hearing it! I'm trying to remember the kudos will get fewer and farther between!
Well...the wind has kicked up so I think I'll take the camera and walk the island instead of fighting the dive boat ladder this afternoon.
Adios!
