Good afternoon all.  Another wonderful day.  I guess it is muggy out there.   I know we are going to get rain.  My greyhound is going crazy.  And he won't get out of my bathroom.

The Rangers looked real good last night.  Looking forward to a repeat performance tonight.

Not much else going on with me.

Just a reminder, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  AND SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Hi George;

Thank you for your sweet email tonight.

Work has been dead which makes me restless. I had a phone interview with a recruiter this afternoon. The position he was recruiting for was in IT Sales. He asked me what type of position I'm looking for, so I gave him my 5 minute pitch about my experience and what I want. His response: "You'd be bored to tears in this job." So, that didn't go well... I'm starting to feel like some sort of freak of nature that doesn't fit in anywhere.

Prayers for all who need them.
Blessings, Jennifer

It appears you want to work.  You want a challenge.  That is rare these days.  At least you found out ahead of time on this one.

Me, I don't want a challenge at this time in my life.  I am very happy with status quo.  I just want to coast along until it is time for social security.  Then, look out world.  LOL.

I don't know that I have the ability to go without a challenge. The problem right now is finding someone that wants to pay me fairly for coming in and improving their business. Sadly, I also think it's a regional thing. While Dallas is more ambitious than San Antonio, it's still not like the north. Too bad the weather up there is so rotten.

I hear you.  I can't tell you how different my life would have been if it wasn't so cold in upstate NY.  Because of the cold weather, Mary developed asthma.  The only way I could get transferred was to volunteer for a remote assignment.  While I went remote, Mary moved to Dallas, moving in with her mother.  4 months later, she could not take it, so she bought a house.  I always told her, I am buying one house.   Period.  I did not want to deal with trying to sell every time we move.
