Good Glorious Sunday Everyone! May you all spend it with someone you love!

Today we are playing musical! Furniture! Mr Clay, wanna drop by?? Then have to deliver my Godmothers bday gift, mail some letters and maybe a mani pedi if time. Grandson needed some spending money so he is the handyman du jour! Cleaning patio, trimming shrubs hauling things to attic,etc..! I love having a boy slave!

On a sad note... a dear friends father, who was also the headmaster of our upper school lost his battle with cancer this week. He was a fair minded ver intelligent man with a marvelous sense of humor. I am so glad I knew him not only a a person of authority in my youth, but as a friend as an adult!

Great time with peeps yesterday. It had been so long since I had seen many of you . That good vibe lasted me all day and I had a fab day a woork!

Now lets keep that vibe working, the train is leaving the station, so lets go out and make it a great day!!!!!!!1

Good Morning!!

Had our dog groomed yesterday.  I made the cactus fritattas and took a few to one of my classmate.  They turned out delicious!!!  Sauteed the cactus, potatoes, and onions.  Seasoned it with salt and pepper, added in some of my homemade salsa.  I put them in the muffin tins, added the egg mixture, a bit of shredded cheese, and on about 2 doz of them, put a dab of DH's homemade chili...MMMMMM good!!

Got a lovely email from my childhood best friend.  It's always great to hear from her!!

Good morning Meggie...glad to see you seem to be feeling better.  Sorry to hear about your friend's dad dying.  It looks like you had a good time at your school gathering the other night.  You looked beautiful and happy in the pics.

I have SS and church this morning and then back home.  I hope to chill out and straighten the extra bedroom, which is filled to the gills with Ben's stuff from college and kitchen stuff for his apartment next year.  We have to organize it!

Prayers for Lynnette and her family and all others who need them.

Good morning TMB!

I'm sitting here enjoying my breakfast including 3 grapes and 2 pieces of pineapple!!! That's right, i've been cleared for raw fruits and veggies...and they taste great!

Been packing and heading out the door in 1.5 hours to New Orleans for the week.  Hey, here's a quiz, where is the worst possible place you could go 6 weeks after WLS- that's right, New Orleans!  It will be fine though our meeting manager for our conference is so sweet and had the catering managers call me to work out menus.  I felt bad for them because just about everything they make down there is filled with fat, sugar and of course, rice!  But, I'm well equipped in case of food emergency with protein shake powder and I know I will do fine!

I'm excited about this conference, I get to see about 1000 of my "clients" (financial advisors) and we always have a great time.  Of course, a little apprehensive about my energy levels....but everyday is getting better and I packed plenty of "Click!"

Thanks Alissa!  After seeing you bought those Reebok's, I bought some the other day too.  When the 12-15 hour days start to get to me I'm going to pop those things on and try to hide them under my dress pants!

 Good Morning Meggie and TMB,

Going to be a busy day for me.   I am skipping church this AM because I still have to do lots of things to prepare for my support group this afternoon.     We are having our first meeting in Keller ( our new location ) and seems like by the RSVP's I am going to have a crowd !!!   WOW I got up this AM and made some SF Peanut butter cookies and printed out the recipe for my recipe of the month for the SG.   Hope that they like them and no one dumps on them since they have Splend blend in them.    They are SO good though.    Anyway I have to head out to Office Depot in a minute to get literature printed up for the meeting and then start packing my son's car for it.   He took my SUV to YMCA Camp Carter on friday.   He is a camp councilor there this summer and a lifeguard.    Hope my poor baby boy doesn't burn up.    Thank God he is not as fair skinned as I am and he tans like his dad.    LOL  Otherwise he would look like a cooked lobster at the end of the first day.   Anyway prayers for everyone who needs it.   My condolences to your friend and her family on her Dad's passing.     Love ya Meggie and have a blessed day today !!!
