Good afternoon all.  A little warm out.  Got up early to eat so I can get going early and get to Barnes and Noble to check on their Free Fridays offers for the Nook.

Working both jobs today.  Looking forward to sleeping tomorrow.  I will get home about 7 and don't have to be back to wor****il 6PM tomorrow  night.  Should be able to grab 8 hours for a change.

Just a reminder, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  AND SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

I don't know what you like to read but here is an assortment:

The Mitford Series by Jan Karoon
there is a muder mystery series, very light hearted, by Diane Mott Davidson
The Per Series by Anne McCaffrey  sci fi

Thank you Meggie.  I will see what they have in the eBooks.

I have read 5 books in the two weeks I have had the Nook.  Most of the books I get are in the under $5 section.  Two of them were freebies.  So, I am saving money on books.  Saving trees by getting eBooks.  And saving space as I will no longer have to put the books on bookshelves.  The Nook will hold 1500 books.  I did not keep all of the books I have read.  I deleted one or two, but after I read it.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Hello George.  I am sorry you are working... I will be off until Tuesday.  A lot of my friends took off/called in sick today, but I AM HERE... working my little heart out... LOL.

I have a busy weekend.

Tonight I am cleaning.  The fun starts tomorrow.  My husband is comming into town and doing some work on my car... mowing my lawn... and kissing my rear LOL... We may go hang out with a couple of friends for a little while, and then I am out and about...  Can't do anything too bad because I will have the baby with me.

I have several friends that want to hang out this weekend... So they will be keeping me busy.  I have a feeling this 4day weekend is going to FLY by.

Take care,

Hey George...
Just catching up on a few emails then I'm going to hit the hay early tonight.  Schnitzel and I curled up on the floor late this morning and took about a 45 min. snooze.  I woke up and startled myself thinking it was late in the afternoon but instead, it was only about noon!

Did get spooked this morning.  Was sitting in the far living room when I heard what sounded like someone trying to jiggle the door.  The dog went nuts barking.  I grabbed my phone and IMMEDIATELY called Paul just to have him on the line with me while I was trying to figure out who it was.  Well, it ended up being NOTHING...just a guy putting flyers on doors, but, what I didn't think was too smart was the fact that he opened up my first glass screen door in order to try to jam that flyer into the crack of the door.  People are VERY edgy right now so I just didn't think that was a wise move.  I sent the company an email letting them know it might be SAFER for their guys to just use TAPE and stick it to the window or use a rubber band and attach it to the doorknob.  They obviously don't know the situation, but OMG, if they caught someone who was trigger happy, that might not be good!!!  Not even sure if they will respond but we'll see!

Ok, time to go find the PJ's.  I'm already yawning up a storm!!!

Later....

Well I don't care for it either but I know companies are trying to cut back so instead of mailing flyers, they are doing whatever creative way they can to get their name out there so taking their flyer right to a person's door is what they resort to.  I really don't care as I get that stuff off RIGHT away and toss it out, but I just didn't care for the guy OPENING my glass storm door to try to get to my other door.  I did hear back from the company - the guy just answered, "thanks".  Well, he will have to go explain to his employees' family when one of their guys doing that in another neighborhood either sicks their dog on them or worse yet, trigger happy.

Hi Jill,

About a week ago my husband came in and asked if my oldest son (who moved out May 1st) had been over going through the car.  I said HUH?  He said COME LOOK.  I went out and everything in the glove box was on the floor and stuff from the pockets behind the front seats were in the front.  The weird part was the GPS was still on the floor and nothing was missing!

We probably forgot to lock it and I guess they were looking for money *snort*  Won't find anything but quarters in my cars LOL.  I texted my son and he said he hadn't been by.  Asked the youngest who is at home and he didn't know anything about it so we make sure we lock them every night now.

Glad they weren't really trying to get in.

George - thanks for keeping my son n your prayer list.  As far as I know he hasn't found a job yet but once I know for sure I will let you know so you can take him off.
