Farewell (to AL) Friday WLS Express

Well phooey! I figured I was up, couldn't sleep and might as well "play" conductor today......ALL ABOARD!!!!!!!!

Today is my final day as a resident of the wonderful state of Alabama. We should be able to pull out of here at least by noon (I hope, I hope, I hope). Dunno how far we'll get, but as long as there is progress, I'm good! I'm going to try for a couple more hours of sleep...have a long day ahead of me!

Woo hoo for Fridays and woo hoo for Fridays that I don't have any appointments today so I can get my paperwork done. I was SUPPOSED to start working from home June 1st-that's when the other HHSC employees can start but our lovely agency decided that they should wait until the field directors meet June 15-17. So maybe by July they'll figure it out. So disgusting! I am hoping to do this 2 days a week but we'll see.

I am keeping Que and Meggie in prayers for healing and Gine prayers her migraine went away.

Good morning.  Mari...I know you have been waiting for this day for a long time.  Have safe travels back to TX with your sister.

I have a lot of paperwork and reports to work on at work today.  I'll leave a little early to head to Dallas.  I'm meeting Paige in Huntsville...can't wait!

Prayers for Jodie and her family today.  I'll be thinking of you.

Good morning all!!! Went to bed with a migraine that I was so afraid was going to be one of those "4 day affairs", but, as my Gramps used to say :" Praise God and pass the gravy" that sucker is just about GONE!! Granted, I took enough chemibals to choke a baby elephant, but I was determined-I have NO time for a stupid headache!!

Today will be bittersweet, as ny youngest spawn graduates from high school. TRACEY and her mom are picking me up, afterwhile, to attend the Sr breakfast...then home to finish the hall bathroom (it's yellow now and I actually LOVE it-wasn't sure I would), and pack for the weekend,,then tonight...GRADUATION...Get ready for some tears...not just just for Chria and Kaylee...I've known alot of these kids since the beginning of time

LOTS of reasons to CELEBRATE today!!  Mari's headed home and we've got GIRL'S WEEKEND at my house STARTING THIS AFTERNOON.  Can you tell I'm excited.  We all need this so bad. 

For those of you not on FB who haven't seen the invite, I'm holding a GIRL'S ONLY party Saturday from Noon-7 pm at my house in Rowlett (Dallas area) for any and all that want to come.  I will be debuting my jewelry collection (Forever in my Heart Lockets) and we will have Scentsy and other things for sale as well but mainly it's a time to hang out with each other.  If you're new to the board and want to meet all the "regulars", we'd love to have you join us.  Bring a swimsuit and a side dish and come on by.  We'll be having a buffet and even a little wine for those that care to partake.  Hollar if you need the address.  So far it looks like about 30 or so will be there.  It's a perfect time to meet the "girl's". 

I'd better get going-I've got a turkey and a ham to roast for tomorrow's buffet...over and out!!
