WOOOOHOOOO for almost Friday!  LOL  I've no plans for the long weekend, I imagine that I'll spend part/most/all of it over at my DD's house snuggling Becca....  I do plan on working from home tomorrow, as most of the folks in the office have announced their plans to do so....

Prayers are going up for all that need them!

Karen, you can so appreciate this....   Last Saturday night, sitting in bed reading about 10 p.m. we start hearing loud music...   I'm sitting there, trying not to be annoyed at the neighbors who are throwing a party behind us when I catch myself singing a song, and then another and another...

First was Journey's - Wheel in the Sky (The wheel in the sky keeps on turning... and I don't know where I'll be tomorrow...)

Second was Foreigner's - Juke Box Hero (Gotta keep on rockin', ain't never gonna stop, just keep on rocking, some day gonna make it to the top... be a Juke Box Hero... stars in his eyes...)

I haven't heard either one of them in a long time.  My hubby and I sat in bed, both reading, lip sync'ing to the songs, head's banging, reliving the 70's & 80's as they played a variety of the groups for over an hour.   Needless to say, we ended up going to bed with a smile on our face and no longer annoyed with the neighbor :)

Morning everyone. I kept hitting snooze this morning! I am up and awake now. Dishes done, dog outside, lunches packed, etc.

Our plans- well Bryan gets home tomorrow evening, then Sat at Stephs for me, not sure what the boys are doing. Monday we're either going to cook out or have a roast or something like that and hopefully we'll have some folks come over. We were going to do something with my sister as its her birthday Monday but she will be in Brownsville for her MIL's funeral. The girls and my sister leave today for Brownsville.

Morning everyone! Today is the first day of the rest of my life!!! I'm waiting on the answer of my Financial Aid application. I've decided (after TOO LONG) to go back to school. Doing it online is going to be my choice. I say today is the first day but every day is the first day as God has given me another day. Plans for the weekend.... Today is my Friday, Friday I'm trying to get over to my tattoo guy to finish my work, Saturday... Hoping to go out with a friend from HS that I haven't seen in 19 years (plans aren't set yet, waiting on his mom lol) then the group will confirm. Sunday... bday party for my niece, Monday CHILL!!!
Sounds like I'm booked... I'll clean house in between there somewhere. Have a GREAT THURSDAY!!!

Good morning everyone !!!

Saturday morning I am getting on a big bird named Delta and heading for DFW where Don will meet me on the other side of the carousel door.  Needless to say, I cant wait to see him again!!!  Dont know what the plans are for the weekend.  I hate to say this part, but I leave to come back to Atlanta on Wednesday.  At least it is few extra days for us to be with each other.  Thank goodness for Delta skymiles, they are saving me some $$, as I havent paid full price for a round trip ticket in the last 18+ months!  I will be running out of them soon...anybody got any extra to give me??  Just kidding!!

Would you believe work?

Working 6 hours Friday at pt job.  Then 8 hours ot on full time.  Sleep.  12 hours ot Saturday night.  Sleep.  4 hours ot and 8 hours scheduled Sunday.  Sleep.  BBQ for some great friends on Monday afternoon (I will actually start it before I go to sleep).  Work Monday night (holiday pay).  It is a lot, but I will really appreciate it on June 4.

I am taking off from both jobs on June 1.  36 years with a wonderful woman.  And Mary hasn't found out about us yet.

Good morning.  I have an ARD meeting this morning and have to gather up finals for my homebound student.  I have reports to write at my office.   Homebound after work at the hospital.  Thanks heavens that is over next week.  Hopefully just today and next Tuesday and I'll be done!

I'm going to Rowlett for the weekend...can't wait.  I leave tomorrow with Paige and hopefully Donna.

Hate to be a downer this morning, but I need prayers.  The cataract they took out 2 weeks ago has to be redone today.  My left eye is in quite a bit of danger here.

A fragment of the cataract has attached to the cornea and the cornea is swollen.  Normal pressure in your eye is 10-12, mine is 34.  I leave for the surgery center at 7.  Should be back home by noonish.  Dr. Margo assures me that he can fix this and I should be OK.  Go in Friday to have the patch taken off and I am afraid that my vision won't be any better. 

On the upside, Tom is a great caretaker.
