Ramblings of an 8 Year Post Op...
Honey, I have had arough couple of years. As I tellmy surgeon I am just "special"! mI warned him before surgery that if anything weird could happen it would happen to me...he now finally believes me. When I take my life pre WLS and compare it to life now, there is no question that it was worth it!! Its the little things that count like:
fitting in a public bathroom stall
flying without a seatbelt extender
looking straight down and seeing my feet
being able to sit anywhere in a resaurant and not worrying about breaking a chair or just not fitting
I can shop anywhere
I can walk on my husbands back when he needs chiropratic care, in fact I am really too light for it to really help him!!
I can get up and down off the floor
and on and on and on
Plus I have met all the wonderful souls on this board and they are the best chosen family anywhere!!

I can't even put into words what you mean to me so suffice it to say~I love you like a SISTER! We are definately 2 peas from the same pod whether that be good or bad. I can't imagine how empty my life would be had I never met you.
