Good morning...jump on the WLS Express

If you want to be accountable, join us in Accountable April.  It seems that not to many folks want to plan or post their food lately, but it sure helps if you think about and write down what you're eating.

Today I have church and that's about it.  I have to do some more laundry and mow the yard this afternoon.

Prayers for all who need them.

Have a great Sunday!

Karla

I'm taking my first stab at gardening this summer....well, the kids and I.  We planted tomatoes, red bell peppers and several herbs.  Wish me luck! Yours sounds wonderful!  Will you can also?

Good morning! I didn't get to do a Hospice case last night, so I slept, am about to get ready for church, etc....then home to get lunches prepared for the week, etc. I toyally bomb if I don't plan ahead.

We had a great time at Rise and Shine yesterday...special "sursrises" were PAUL and SUSAN-they looked fabulous!! JACK and GINNY came in after doing a 5K, making the rest of us feel like laxy slugs (or maybe it was just me..lol)...Skinny BRYAN and the "walk standing up!" ALISSA were there, with their CHRIS, who greeted with me a big hg and "Hello Gorgeous. I threw up in the car this morning".I love that all our kids feel so comfortable with us! MEGGIE looked especially fetching in a swirly dress-we had her model and "twirl" for us. GAYE was a fashionista too, in her matching earrings/bracelet blouse ensemble. We commented how losing weight somehow brings out COLOR. TRACEY was there-stunning as always, just showing up lit up the room. I don't get to see near enough. My boys, CORBIN and CHRIS (AKA K-Mart and Abercrombe) were both there-THEIR choice. They were disappointed more NOT there-like TOM, QUE and DAVID.The highlights had to be LORALEA and her crew. They had on their DisneyWorld "Seale Family Vacation" shirts, each with their name and a different dwarf-I know LL was "Grumpy" (she said the family voted), LEXI was "Happy", EMILY was "Sleepy". I can't remember who JAKE, MICHAELand KATELYN's dwarfs were. Of course, JON was "Doc". What a great idea!!! After RNS-- TRACEY, GAYE and I went to the mall and hung out, like the teenagres we think we are. I ended up having to elevate and ice my sore knee when  got home-so much for being a teenager!!

Time to get moving-hope everyone has a blessed day!!

Sounds like a wonderful time.  I missed you all!  I spent Saturday morning with DD at drill team tryouts, got some homework done and then  spent time at the hospital with MIL. I used to say I was waiting fr my life to get back to normal, but maybe chaos is my normal.  My jaw, however, dislikes it. I have reverted to clenching and have had a headache all week as a result.

I just got back from a 56 minute run/walk. I can't tell you how much better I feel.  MUST make more time to do this - preferrably with friends like you.

Good morning!!!!
Karla- you are so right about being accountable!!!  I believe that this is one of the keys to losing weight and maintaining!!!  It helps me see what I ate... and I record everything!!!!!  I go back at the end of the day in fit day and make those corrections... sometimes I like what I see and others not so much but it helps me do what needs to be done the next day!

Danni- I so wish I had a green thumb!!!  Always wanted to have a garden... but I can't keep a house plant alive!

Gina- Sounds like you had a great day!!! Take care of that knee... cause we have a half marathon to do!!!  Okay I know it's like 9 months away but....

Made a new goal yesterday and that is do a half marathon!!!  I must be crazy but I am excited as I've been thinking about this for about a year... now that I am at goal I need something else to work towards so a half marathon it is!!!!  Hoping that JennD and Gina are going to join me for the Whiterock event in December... anyone else want to join us???

Okay prayers and hugs to all who need them today!!!

PAIGE-I went to the website and signed up for the newsletters, etc. They aren't accepting actual registrations until June 1st. The race is scheduled for Sun, Dec 13th, which may SEEM far away, but, trust me, that time just FLIES, as far as training goes (right, PRINCESSES????)

T-thanks for the tip-any idea how much $$ it will cost? June 1st will be right after after Chris's graduation, but I stay broke pretty much all the time anyway (because of HIM..lol), so don't guess it really matters, but would still like to know what to plan for!
