Hello!  It's been a really long time since i've been on.  I apologize!!  I am at goal!  Been there for awhile now.  Had RNY Aug '08.  I've noticed that i'm hungry alot lately and constantly snacking.  Also, certain meals i'm able to eat a little more than usual.  I remember being newly post op and reading posts about some diet that will test your pouch size.  Please advise!  I dont know if this is just a stage but i'm so concerned that i'm going to blow this and need to take control now!!  Thanks guys!

Jenn...
It's good to reach out for help.
Here's a link from with MANY results of the "5 day Pouch test". There are some that do it on this board as well... just browse through the posts the past few weeks you should find at least one posting. Another option is post for partners and someone is bound to join you on the 5day!
Good Luck... remember FOCUS on your want! =)

JENN-where ya been, girl????? I'm a TOTAL believer in the 5dpt. BUT-it is NOT NOT NOT a weight loss DIET-nor is it intended to be. the info gets "watered down" alot, as it passed around. Please go to www.5daypouchtest.com and read all the info carefully, and decide, for yourself, if it is for you. It's a great "carb detoxer" and "brain restarter" for ME. It helps me get off the "snack cycle", and back on scheduled eating, which souunds like something you might could use help with (from what you said).

Best of luck and hollar if we can help in any way!

There is also the "cottage cheese" test that I have read about that is supposed to actually measure the size of your pouch.  I don't know anyone who has done this, but it sounds interesting!
