traveling Thursday wls express

Have a Holly Jolly Chrismas! I just love Christmas songs and have enjoyed reading EO posts! Yall are really getting me in the spirit~Safe travels for all! I am praying for EO's guardian angels to be "ON GUARD"! My DH is really weak today! His iron is low and that may account for that...please keep those prayers coming and I will do the same for all those in need too! Am planning to make a little Christmas candy to give as gifts. But I absolutely must be good after my seizure/dumping episode that landed me in the hospital...I probably should not even make any but it is just part of Christmas and I do plan to give it away...(do I sound like I am whining?) lol! WE only have one week yall OMG! Love to all~

Safe travels to everyone who starts their trips this weekend!  Next week will be crazy travel time.  Thankfully both of our families live within an hour of us, so we don't have much traveling to do. 

We do Christmas Eve at the brother in law's house so his little one can go nighty-night when she gets cranky.  Christmas Day at my mother's house.  From there we will head to Brownwood to spend the rest of the weekend at the deer lease.

Tomorrow marks the 2nd anniversary of my daddy's death.  For some reason today seems harder than the actual day he died.  I guess it's because it was the last time I saw him.  He, in my mind, will always be the greatest daddy to ever have graced the Earth.  The only man who loved me for who I was and what I grew up to be, regardless of the bad decisions I made in the process.  I'll wallow in my pity party for the next couple of days, then I'll be fine until 12-17-10 and it will start over I'm sure.  I'm predictable like that.

Jodi I'm so sorry about the loss of your Daddy.  I get ya.  I lost mine 12-24-87.  The days leading up to Christmas eve are totally crap, but beginning Christmas day I'm fine.  Even after more than 20 years I miss him horribly.  There will always be a hole in my heart on Christmas eve.  Just know you're not alone.  HUGS
