Haven't seen you here on the TMB in ages !!!! Congrats on your revision. I am feeling much better this afternoon but it has taken me 24 hours of taking Milk of Magnesia every 4 hours to get relief from the major gas pains that I was having. I think I am cleaned out NOW !!! LOL I take Miralax every day in coffee. D....if you haven;t tried it and are still having constipation problems....you can use Dulcolax Supposatories and they will give you relief in 15 minutes ( or at least they do me ). Good to see you back here on the TMB and hope you do well with your revision.

I've been lurking off and on for years. I wondered since Miralax is a laxative if it ok to use everyday without becoming dependent on it.
My dr. said to use it but I didn't know if he meant everyday. I guess it's ok since you do it with no problem. I use to take the Dulcolax pills but had to take sooo many to move and when I did man, did I bust loose. TMI. But I do think that us constipated guys need to find a way to become regular. I am doing well with the revision. Had it on Dec. 1 and weighed on Dec 15.....lost 18lbs!!!! Just now moving to pureed foods. So yep, I'm a happy camper.Dancin-d

Curious as to what caused the "history of gas and constipation" though .. Did you have some kind of intestinal disorder before your WLS?
