The good and the bad
MEGGIE...Big (((HUGS))), my Sister...why do our moms like to make us so crazy??? As I've said before, I'm pretty sure OUR moms are kin somewhere alng the line....ok-the pacemaker-no biggie anymore-REALLY...the breast cancer--AMAZING what can be done nowadays-my now 73 yr old brother was diagnosed 2 yrs ago, had a masectomy, was back to work in a month (STILL works full times-drives from Burleson to Dallas every day)--we will think POSITIVE on oth these medical issues.
I am very sorry your mom chose to wait so long to tell you. I know her "reasons" are her own..but I know YOU, and I know it HURT you, and I am angry at her for that. I am also angry ay whomever is upsetting you at work. Get me name and work hours. I'll sashay thru there in my new Mafia Mama clothes....just sayin'...
Hope you were able to get some well deserved rest last night.
I LOVE YOU!!

We Can Do Hard Things
And I do believe in the miracles of modern medicine! The lump has been there at least 6 months, they are going to do a biopsy in acouple of weeks to see if it has spread and how bad it is!
Yes I am hurt and angry! i live here to help her and after 13 yrs realise she really doesn't seem to want me around!
We will see how it all pans out next week!
tks
Meggie

What a year you have had and you still keep smiling.
Like Gina said(very well I must add) there is so much
that can be done today. I know in my Mom's generation
it was doom and gloom. We have lots of breast cancer
survivors on our board and in our support groups.
I bet you are her sunshine, Praying for you.
