OT: I need some prayers

About shorter hair-my husband has teased me that the smaller I get the shorter my hair is!!

Teena, I'm so sorry you're struggling.  I have no magic words of wisdom, just know I'm here if you need me.

Thanks Steph.  Just there are days I feel like the world is closing in around me and today is one of those days.  I feel like such a baby.  But I knew I could come here and no one would think any less of me.  At work I have to put on this face and it's nice to be able to let that go.  You are truly a great friend.  I'm thankful to have you in my life even if I don't see you as much as I would like to.

Will be praying for you!!

I've been were you are and have the t-shirt to prove it.  I will keep you in my special prayers.  Please lean on us, don't be afraid to come to us.  I have done my fair share of leaning as of late and know that there are plenty of strong shoulders here.

Well we both may not have been born Crow's but for a short time we managed to be one.LOL  Thank you so much for your words of encouragement.  They mean so much to me.

I have shared on here that I am a recovering alcoholic - I chose to go into a 28 day treatment program in May and have not had a drink since then. One of the things that my counselor there kept HAMMERING into my head was that I HAD to learn to love myself and do for myself FIRST, before I could love anyone else or do effectively for them.
As a wife and mother - and those being the two most important elements of my life - it has been hard to learn how to do that. But, I have had to change in order to survive and to continue to be the wife and mother (and in March a grandmother for the first time) that I want to be.
Sometimes the best gift we can give our loved one is to do for ourselves and tell them No.

Thank you Anne.  I know I have to do it.  But isn't it strange how we feel when you take care of ourselves that we are letting our family down?  It's just crazy.  I am working hard to learn to put myself first. 

TEENA--ditto what OUR SISTERS here have said so well. There are some AWESOME prayers prayers here-no doubt. We have seen the fruits of that power over and over!!
