Been meaning to send you a message. Heli and Mollie are getting along so well here at the new house. You would think they had been best friends all their lives. They run and play. Even the cats are starting to relax and come out more. I'm glad we gave him another chance, it's working out very well so far. I posted a pic of Mol and Heli playing on FB.
Good morning. I'm off to a day of shopping with 3 friends in The Woodlands for one of their birthdays. We haven't gotten to go on a trip in a long time. They all have younger children so it's hard to get away.

GOOD MORNING! Maya's soccer game has been rained out so we'll head to RNS for a while and then go hang out with my sister and family.
Chris and I had a nice relaxing evening once he got back from his friends house. There was talk of a sleepover but it didn't happen. Maybe tonight.
Will be seeing the foot doc Thursday to get surgery scheduled. I'm a bit nervous about the whole thing- the no weight bearing for 3 weeks, how I'm going to get around, esp when Bryan can only take the day of surgery off, missing work for 2 weeks, etc. BUT, I'm just going to try to give it to God and let Him help me with this.
Michelle-chili sounds great. We had some storms last night for about 30 minutes and that was it up in our area. I know further south it was alot worse. Snickers kept barking everytime it thundered and he kept trying to jump in my lap. Poor puppy.

I am up with the chickens again and waiting on more rain. Thank you Lord, we have had 10 1/2 inches but he knows how to dispense it. What a wonderful blessing to see green sprouts of grass where there was just dirt.
I again have too much planned to do for the weekend in my head and i bet they won't get done. Have to take Emm to church by 9 for her retreat to write her faith statement. I need a haircut and want something new but have no idea what. Just need a change. It look horrible right now being 8 weeks since the trim. I must also get after my closet. I literally can not get into much of it. Time to change out the summer clothes. I also want so much to find a few good classic pieces for fall, like black and grey skirts and slacks. Macys is having a good sale this morning, but it's too far to get there in time.
Oh well, I will get SOMETHING done on my agenda. There will always be something left as well.

good morning all - its gonna be a great sat - went and did a tiny bit of yard saling - got Rach 3 cute little girl purses - home now - filled my pill boxes and am puttering around -
saw a new nero here yesterday - omg!! I love that man - he is PROactive, was willing to find something for my migraines I can take nursing, wants to run all the monitoring tests except the spinal tap (which I refuse anyhow) and is trying me on something new that is magnesum based - it is from research done with people with pre eclapsa where it gets bad enough to cause seizers and this is one of the things that helps so someone said hmmm if it helps there maybe it will help witho other brain issues - like migranes - and it is suppose to - wlill let you all know next week - I do know that when I miss taking my vits my headaches get worse, hmmm wonder if there is a conection - of course it could be I am worse about taking my vits when my stress level goes up too
anyhow adding more head meds monday
K's bday party was a blast - had 2 other couples over plus 7 kids - pizza cheesecake (the low sugar low fat citrus one that is to die for) the kids ran and ran and ran then some more and finally ended the evening playing yugio and adventure quest - it was nice and low key for me - other thant rying to herd 7 kids into the ktichen to put stuff on the pizzas - I made individual crust so everyone could have just what they wanted - he got 3 cards that made noise LOL that was the biggest hit with the kids plus toys
Rach is wondering around with a peice of cold pizza, Tim is making coffee, teen is still sleeping and K is playing with new toys - its a good day

Good morning Train Riders! I'm puttering around listening to praise music. Jeff is still sleeping (no wonder since he didn't come to bed till 5am!!). If the weather lets us we're going to go to the park today and feed the ducks and geese, have a picnic then go wander around the shops in downtown McKinney. If the weather doesn't let us we'll probably just goof around here at home. I've got to do laundry and clean up a little bit, but nothing major. I'll probably do that while he's still sleeping.
Not much else going on in my world. My weight is sitting at 258 which annoys me beyond belief, but it is what it is and I'll keep doing what I need to. I really wanted to be lower before Monday when I go see my surgeon for a hernia follow up. We'll see what happens. If it's still sitting there I may see about going to talk to the nutritionist if they have one now. I'd really like to get my weight moving again and think I may need to talk to a pro to help me get a good game plan going.
We've rescheduled a trip up to MD so we can spend some time with all my family. We'll be leaving on Christmas day and coming back on New Years Eve. That will actually give us lots of time to visit and sight see so I'm looking forward to that. Now I have to figure out what to do with the dogs. Anyone want to dog sit for a week?? LOL, I'll probably end up boarding them at my vet. Luckily they can stay together in the same kennel so they won't be alone the whole time.
