what kind of party is he having? Home or someplace else? Did everyone at school celebrate with him yesterday?

we had 6 kids plus parents and siblyings over - Ihad pizza crusts made n let the kids put what they wanted on theirs, we did cheese cake and presants and he and the rest of them ran like crazy peeps for about 5 hours in my house LOL

Boy, I love 3 day weekends and hate 4 day work weeks.  TGIF

We are in the middle of He(( week and I have lots to do between now and Tuesday.  I love it.  Nothing like being busy all day and going home with a sense of actually doing something.

The doc appts went Ok.  We both have to have a butt load of blood work and I have been referred to a Knee & Hip guy.  The arthritis in my knee may have done too much damage and of course with no NSAIDS I have very few options.  I was surprised that the office called me at work and set the Appt for Oct 5th.  Hoping that they will inject it, but my PCP thinks from the last Xrays that there is too much damage for that.  He prepared me for a total knee replacement and I am not happy.  We will see.

Tom will have blood work and then we will see what can help him.  He is cutting back on some meds that may be causing his RLS  and make him rest better.  There was not much offered, that is non narcotic, that can help him.  Who knows maybe we will find something in the blood that will help out.

Ready for the rain here, grass mowed, edged and thirsty.  So far not a drop.  Not much on the schedule for the weekend, could be boring without our grand-dogs.  They are going to visit Nana this weekend.  Joint custody is tough, but I love that Nana needs them too!!

Hey Que - One thing to ask about for your knees are Synvisc injections.  I don't have any cartilage in my left knee and my ortho has been doing the Synvisc injections instead of going to the knee replacement right now.  It's a series of 5 shots, one per week for 5 weeks.  Here's a link:  http://www.synviscone.com/   I've had them in both knees, and they've lasted 1-2 years for me.

Morning!  Not much to say which doesn't happen often.  The boys are off for Teacher In-Service, wish I could take the day off too.

I'm getting a hair cut this afternoon, shorter, lol.  It's just so easy when it's short.
