Looking for a Walking Buddy in the Carrollton area

Hi everyone.  I'm looking for a morning walking buddy (after 8am when I drop my son at school).  I moved to the Carrollton area in April and just haven't made any friends. 

Geez that sounds pathetic.....

A little background:  I'm a stay at home mom whose husband is active duty in the Marine Corps.  We're stationed in Carrollton on recruiting duty; so we are living in a "civilian" neighborhood and not on base (where making friends is easier because of common situations).   That and I don't really get out there.


So...back to topic.  If you're interested and don't live too far send me an email. I don't mind driving to you.   I have not started excercising and this will be my first step.  I had to have a revision a week after my surgery due to complications and then ended up aspirating (spelling?) on the operating room table so my lungs are not 100 %.  So when I say walking I mean walking at a normal comfortable pace.

Please don't send or reply with negative comments about my husband being a Marine.  You'd think it unnecessary for me to say that, but you'd be surprised by the ugly things people have said to me since we moved here. (another reason I don't get out)
