Monday WLS Train - All Aboard
well its my last day of mini vaca. Have had such a great time. Soooo what i needed to recharge! Very beautiful here in denver... the mountains and scenery are so different that what we have in texas. I am just adoring the weather. We went to an outdoor outlet mall yesterday.. well you know i would have been miserable in tx doing that but there was a great breeze andi had a fabu time. Popped in the rocky mountain choco factory and got some yummies SF choco for me. OMGi was in heaven!!! Then got a great driving tour of the area (can yall tell they are trying to convice me to relo here lol) anyway, much fun but im back on the plane home late tonite and back to reality :)
I was really afraid of 'altitude sickness' that some get with the headaches and puking but for me its been a godsend. I have slept soooo much its unreal!!! Im sleeping 8-10 hours a night with 2 hour naps in the afternoon lol. Its sooooo crazy!!! But im storing it while i can lol.
Hope everyone is doing well, any updates on meggie?
See everyone back home tomorrow!!

When I was born, I cried and the world rejoiced. Now i wanna live my life so that when I die, the world cries and I rejoice
B2B has done me some good...got me exercising and being fairly strict w/ food and -7 lbs. for the week...I'm happy with that. I had gone a place I didn't want to go and have come back "closer to home".
Went to ben's convocation ceremony at Aggieland yesterday. Me, my mom,SIL and MIL went and took him shopping and out to eat and then to service. It was nice. He's coming home Friday and riding back to game at A & M w/ me Saturday. Ms. Terry T is joining us for the game. Ben will "stand" w/ students in student section...I sure don't want to do that. Terry would be used to that, but not me! He starts his classes today...Biology I and Sports Psychology.
Prayers for Meggie and all others who need them.
Good luck on the new job today Gina...you'll be fantastic!
Glad you got some sleep Liz...enjoy the last of the vacation.
Have a great Monday!

It's so nice and cool!!! Hope we keep this weather for a month or so :) It's bound to be a good day today. Not only is Charlotte in kindergarten, but Caroline (who just turned 3) starts her Mother's Day Out program. That's three days a week. So, I guess it's just Tori and me for the most part of today! Of course, she's at that "into EVERYTHING stage, so I don't know that I'll reap the benefits of just having just one of them :)
Started painting my playroom/computer room yesterday but didn't get but half way. Then realized it will need a second coat! Bummer! May work on that while Tori takes a nap.
Went to Annette's and Matt's shower yesterday. It was so nice. She got some really nice things that she wanted. She was just beaming. So good to see her so happy. Good to see several of the gals there.
Well, better get my day going. Have to be at DD's earlier now since school is on. Y'all have a great one.
Blessings,
Carol

Good morning all,
Had a wonderful weekend. Thank you to Debbi and Lynnette for putting on a lovely shower for me and for all that attended in person and in spirit. I love you all. The reality hit me this weekend that I will be married in less then 3 weeks now. I was padding a week in there and it was ripped away from me. OY! (borrowing from Becky) I'll be ready but sure would have like that extra week. That also means my baby boy will be leaving sooner then I thought. October 1st will be here before I know it. I am very proud of him though.
Making lists, picking Bible verses, picking music, finishing bouquets, taking suit and dresses to cleaners, paying for cakes, making Sam's and Costco runs. It will all get done.
Saying prayers for all of you. Have a great day everyone.
Glad so many people were able to come to Annette's shower yesterday. She's going to be such a beautiful bride and I'm sooo happy for both her and Matt!
Make today a great day all! Do something good for yourselves.
