Monday WLS Train - All Aboard
I'm feeling great doing the B2B, I think it was Becky that suggested it and I want to say Go Becky, and THANKS! I weighed this morning and it put a smile on my face. Two weeks ago I was up to 141.6, this morning 135.3; so 6.3 lbs in two weeks, not shabby at all.
Woot, work that plan and be happy because the tool works when you work it. And, you'll feel better without the carbs.

We went to the Veterans convention thingy at the Will Rogers Saturday. Gots lots of great information and spoke to the DAV and I think I should have some help on that front. Also spoke to some people about putting in for jobs at other government agencies, so keep your fingers crossed!
After this was over, we went to the Home and Garden show at the FW Convention center. Not a lot of people there. They were scrambling for customers! Some of them followed me down the aisle and had a difficult time accepting no for an answer. That is exhasting! I hate that! I know they need the business, but it's a serious turn off when they do that. Even if I needed the service, I wouldn't go with them because of that!! Anyway, mom bought some sage bushes that now need to be put in the ground. But they are beautiful!
Mom bought my father one of those chairs that lifts you to a standing position and it was delivered last week, so guess who got his old (actually fairly new) recliner? Me! So I got to get rid of the old one of mine (yeah, it was really old and sagging!) and now I have a new recliner!
Well, guess I'd better get going. Need to take a shower for the stand by room! Too bad I can't take my laptop and play on the internet! But that's not allowed, and besides, no wifi to connect with anyway! Have a great day! Love ya!
Initial surgery 2006-Highest weight 305 - got down to 180
Having revision surgery soon!
Current 265 / Goal 180

Tonight I'm taking Chris out for mom and kiddo time. Should be fun. We're going to see a movie, but I don't think I'll be tempted by the popcorn because I can't tolerate much of it, esp the movie theater butter-makes me sick.
We had a great time at the shower yesterday-thanks Lynnette and Debbi!
Hugs and prayers for those in need- esp our Meggie- hope you're feeling better soon! Michelle-good luck with the house closing today and car purchase tomorrow. Gina- congrats on the job-let us know how it goes!
Hope everyone has a great day today-love you guys!
Have fun with the kiddos.

Good Morning Dana and the rest of my TMB Family,
Congrats Dana on the weight loss that is fantastic. You guys all amaze me how well you can stay away from the carbs. Keep up the great work. I too had a tough time sleeping last night. Woke up about 3:30 and tossed a bit and then the phone rang (Mark got a recall) so decided it was time to get up. Today is a really exciting day for us. We will be closing on the house at 4:00 this afternoon. Then I promise you guys wont hear about it anymore. Just a HUGE thing for us, and one less thing we have to worry about. It is going to be a busy week, between house closing, 2 year check up with the Doc, bible study and meet the teacher, and the band drive. I hope to have my new car by the weekend. We have decided on the Chevy Traverse. Anyone have one? I wish I could have been at the shower yesterday. It sounds like you guys had a good time. Prayers this morning for our Meggie. I am hoping each day she gets a little healthier, and that this will be the last surgery. Also prayers for our teachers and kids as they begin another week of school. Hope everyone is getting setteled into some kind of a routine. Ok time to get a move on. Have a blessed day. I love you guys. Michelle
Good morning all!!! Did ANYONE sleep well last night?? I flipped and flopped-guess I'm nervous about the new job today...silly, but I can't help it. Just hate starting a new job, being the new kid, being totally lost. I'm going to have to learn new procedure, software, the whole caboodle. I'd better shut up before I talk myself out of it!
We have 4 new lil babies in our house this morning. Our chihuahua, Abby, had her babies, under Corbin's bed about 4am. She had the first 3 before it woke Corbin up. When I woke up, and stumbled to the kitchen for coffee, Corbin was up in his room, wearing gloves. I couldn't imagine what he was doing....He had helped her move the babies into a nice new box with a clean blanket, etc....what a guy. I have no idea if they are boys or girls--they just look like rats to me...and you know how I don't get get close to rats!
Hope ANNETTE's shower went well yesterday-hate I had to miss it. My charity sorority meeting, at my house, went well, but I would have rather been with y'all.
Lunch is packed...vitamins in my ziplock snack baggy...better get it all together and get my hiney out the door...
Hope everyone has the BESTSEST day ever!!!!
I LOVE Y'ALL AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!
