Looking for support in Temple, TX

Good Morning,
I am from Temple, TX and had my surgery on 8/3/09-  I have had my ups and downs emotionally AND have lost 31 pounds.
I am looking for anyone in the central texas area for support and well...just someone local to talk to. 
The local support groups are on Thursday nights and I will be working that night for the next couple of months at least. 
Sometimes I just really need someone to talk to who knows what is going on....I don't want to burden my fiance or family too much.

You are doing GREAT.  31 pounds in just a few weeks with a lapband is awesome.  The one thing I learned really fast was that no one prepared me for the emotional side of this surgery.  I know I had to have a PSYCH evaluation before surgery but I didn't know how emotional I would be.  My daughter told me all the time I was cranky.  It gets better.  I live in the DFW area but would encourage you to keep coming here and letting us support you.
