Thankful Thursday WLS Express

Good morning Train Riders!  I'm trusting that today will be a good day.  I've got some meetings at work, then have to take my car into the shop.  It's due for an oil change, and if you remember oil changes in my car tend to lead to very expensive repairs.  Well it's going to be another one I'm afraid.  I noticed when I got to work this morning that there is something hanging off the bottom of my engine and it's dripping.  Ugh!  Hopefully whatever it is it's either a cheap fix or it's under my extended warranty.

Oh well, enough of that, it will work out.  Had a nice relaxing evening last night.  Got to play a little WoW, talked with my parents then went and hung out with Jeff's parents for a bit.  Looks like we're going to go to the Mesquite Rodeo either this weekend or next weekend.  That should be fun.  I haven't been to a Rodeo since I lived in Houston.  I'm also hoping we can go see the movie Adam this weekend, but I'm not willing to pay full price so it will have to be a matinee show sometime.

hey yall,
damn im exhausted today lol. and i have a headache. No need to panic tho.. its from not eating yesterday. I tried some soup last nite and pouch just slammed shut and it came back up from the stress of yesterday. Kids are STILL wiped They have drank their usual huge amount of water (*they drink like camels in the summer) plus another huge amount, then just laying on the  lil bit of tiles we have.  I have their fans on them and they are just pooped out from being out in the sun for so long yesterday. Goofballs! lol.  Im really exhausted myself and nana is way pissed coz we were posta go to beaumont yesterday. I had to cancel my MRI appt on my neck yesterday and she had put Barron some chicken leg quarters in the crock pot. Now considering Nana doesnt boil water, this was a big deal lol. and this was the 2nd time i had to cancel the MRI lol.  Gonna try to reschedule for tomorrow. CROSS YOUR FINGERS!. 
Landlord is being a total A$$ coz im moving. Oh well.

Hi, everyone.  I usually work through the night and sleep through the day, so mid afternoon IS my morning. 

I'm thankful today because I actually won a skirmish with "her" - the part of me that hates being told what to do.  I woke up tired (as usual), but made a good breakfast, took my vitamins and got supper started for when DH gets home.

My other thankful is huge!  I've been working on a novel for over a year and have gotten stuck several times.  Last night, I finished the darn thing!  30 chapters and over 100,000 words.  It still has to go through final edit, but the big, heavy work is DONE!  That is such a relief.

I hope everyone's day is going well, without too much frustration or too many roadblocks.
