I am thankful for a loving and understanding wife who puts up with my OCDness as well as she does. Whether it is comic books, novels, toys or exercise she shown me more understanding in the last year than anyone ever has before. Then again maybe I'm just a hopeless geek in love.
Scars are like tatoos, but with better stories.

Morning she says in a soft quiet voice...I stayed up til after 1 AM answering "fan mail" and got awakened at 5 saying I have to go to work this morning.  Before I left yesterday they told me I could have today off barring any unforseen cir****tances~well...6 in labor did me in!!  I had planned to go spend the day with Hailey, but instead I'll go to work and try to stay awake.

Make it a great day!!

Good Morning All,
Congratulations to our "movie star".  Enjoyed your segment last night, Steph.  You did GREAT!!
Supposed to be a chance of rain this afternoon.  Please, Lord!!  We need it so bad.  Will spend the day taking care of the three girls and finishing up on stuff for the b'day party Sat. a.m.  Tomorrow I'll do the cake.  Today have to make a huge pot of chicken/spagetti for company this weekend.  Y'all have a good one.

Blessings,
Carol

Good morning everyone,

I have a grumpy tummy today.  Trying warm liquids first to calm it and hoping that will do the trick.  Today I am thankful for a loving family.  What would we all do without that.

Danni, did you know that Heli can jump over a baby gate?  Yup, we have to figure out something else.  My dad put up the gate when he left yesterday and came home to find Heli laying in the hallway and the gate still in place.  A dog that big shouldn't be able to jump like that.  UGH!

Saying prayers for all of you.  Have a great day everyone.

Test to see how high he can jump...secure it UP a few inches(not so high he can go under).  He might have gotten lucky and just cleared it.
Our dog Gracie is an escape artist.  When we first got her I put a leash on her collar, wrapped it around a post in our bathroom, LOCKED the bathroom door AND put a baby gate in front of it.  Kind of overboard huh?
She was waiting at the backdoor for us when we got home.

We got her a crate that night and she layed on the floor wagging her tail until I had it put together and she got in it without me saying a thing.  She was laying in it while I attached the door!

We are trying the raising the gate up higher thing.  Sometimes he manages to pull the gate out of the doorway so we have to make sure it's in there really securely.  We are doing this because Sunday, Heli decided to "play" with Clifford, my cat.  Cliff was very traumatized and was head to toe saliva and lost a nail.  Fortunately that was the extent of his physical damage but he is terrified of H-dog now and Mollie is very protective and won't let him close to the cat.  We are closing Heli in the room while we are gone in hopes of avoiding future events but so far he is finding a way out.  It's been pretty stressful for everyone.

He has a crate, but he's so big, I don't like to keep him closed in it if the gate will work.  We'll see.

We are on countdown to school around here.  DD has a consult this morning to have her wisdom teeth taken out tomorrow.  We all had cleanings this week.  I had an emergency filling yesterday and my jaw stil hurts from all the stupid shots.  I do think we are finished shopping for school clothes though and am relieved that I won't be fighting tax free crowds this weekend.  For one kid, just isn't worth it.  Instead I have a feeing she'll be well medicated and watching cartoon network and sappy teen movies all weekend as her sore gums recover from having 4 teeth cut out.

I start back to school on Monday night.  I'll be attending M and W from 350-820pm.  I am still working my full time job 6am-230pm and on Tue/Thur nights plus Sat mornings I'll be training at the gym.  I'm afraid you'll be see lots less of me.  After this semester I'll have to decide if I can continue with the training or not.  Anyway, I'm really excited and hope to have my degree within 2 and a half years if I go full time, summers and all mini-mesters.
