Thankful Thursday WLS Express

Good morning!!! Its time to jump on the train and tell us what you're thankful for today!

How is everyone today? I'm so messed up in my schedule from being in San Antonio for 4 days. I'm lucky to remember what day it is! Today is meet the teacher night so we're all excited to go there and get his school supplies that I bought from the PTA and see what teachers he'll have this year. Its the same school so there shouldn't be too many suprises- I hope!
I'm going to drive out to Wise county today with my practi****tudent- give us something to do. Bless her heart- I worked with her until 11:15am yesterday and then I HAD to get paperwork/emails done and I didn't want her to sit there while I did that-that would have been boring. So I had her go read our manual for our program. Granted that probably wasn't a thrill a minute either!! lol.
THANKFUL THURSDAY- today I'm thankful for my husband. He's inspired me to start exercising again on a regular basis. He's so dedicated. Words I thought I'd never hear come out of his mouth are being said regulary- like, let me check the carbs in this or that has too many calories. I'm so darn proud of him! I'm also thankful for a good summer for Chris, where he got to be lazy and have fun playing outside with his friends. He's doing so well. He's lost about 20 pounds too!

Well I'd better get moving. Steph- I stayed up just to see your spot- good job! Liz- how are the dogs this morning??

Good Morning Alissa and My TMB Family,

Strange dreams woke me up at 4:00 am this morning.  I did manage to stay in bed till 4:30 so I guess that is good.  Been trying to cut back on my Ultram so wondering if that caused the dreams last night.  Who knows just know the Ultram is making me so constapated.  Ok....sorry I know TMI!  Alissa I always love meet the teacher night, but now that Eric is going into 6th they dont do that.  We will be going to a orientation on Saturday and seeing the school and getting Eric's schedule.  Hope to be able to maybe meet a few of the teachers then.  Mark and Eric are doing a Star Wars weekend, and plan to rent all the movies and watch them all.  I dont see them getting them all done in the weekend. (11 movies) Stinks for me, but maybe I will go to the pool and get some sun.  Not to much on the agenda for today.  Maybe coffee or lunch with Rebecca,  depends on her schedule.  Probably a nap at some point so I can be totally refreshed for LIVE BIG BROTHER tonight.  I sure look forward to Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday nights for that reason!  More hooked this year that I have been in last well except for season 1.  Ok guess that is about it for now.  Prayers for all those in need, but especially our teachers and school staff as they prepare for our kids next week.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.  Michelle   P.S.  Liz so glad your babies are home!

Alissa wishes we had to rent the first trilogy but alas I have 4 copies of it, The original VHS, the Special Edition VHS, The Special Edition DVD and then finally the Original in widescreen DVD. Plus the 3 prequals, the 2 made for tv ewok movies, the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special, Both the driods and ewok cartoons and the Original movie on Laser Disc.

Poor Alissa.  Does Chris like Star Wars too?  I liked the first couple of ones and thats it.  I am trying to get him to go ahead and buy the set but we will see.  If he owned them then they could watch them anytime....especially when I am not home!  :)

Chris loves all things Star Wars-thankfully he has a DVD player in his room as well so I don't have to watch if its just Chris that wants to see it.

We've got all that crap clogging our movie bookshelf too...oh did I say crap...sorry, I meant um.....well........

Well just for that, next time I will not move out of the chair at the after party.

Good morning.  Wow...this week is going by so fast!  My husband comes home from work tonight to spend the next couple of days with Ben before he leaves for A & M.  I think Saturday morning we'll have Family yard work day...they just don't know about it yet.  Tomorrow they can have visit hubby's family day and haul the old ho****er heater and old doors to the dump day!

I'm downloading Steph's video to watch as I type this...looking forward to seeing our little TV star.

Lots of things to do at work today.
