August Adventure Tuesday
I'm off to a very slow start this morning. I just feel draggy and my pouch is not happy.
Today's plan:
As always, started with coffee.
B - omelet with olives, capers and mozzarella
S - no snack this morning
L - Salad with Turkey and cheese
S - Carrots and hummus
D - Capellini with shrimp, peppers and salami
Water, water, Crystal Lite and more water. This hot, dry weather is really causing me to have trouble getting enough water down. It seems like I need a lot more than usual.

I know it's evening but I just got to where I could post for today. If anyone wonders if your tool still works, just try getting back to basics and then eating something not on the plan - ick! For me, it only took 1 day. I only ate protein and drank water and tea from Sunday afternoon till Monday afternoon. For dinner last night, I had 1 tiny bite of rice with my chicken and dumped. Then this morning, I had some oatmeal and dumped again. Through 2.5 years since surgery, I only dumped 2 times. But now, being back on plan for 1 day and my tool snapped right back into focus - thank goodness!
Anyway, here were my goals and where I am with them:
1. get back to running/walking and lifting weights at least 3 times a week - have been to the gym twice this week so far, having to find a new gym now (idiot trainer today at current gym) but already have appointment at new place for 8 am tomorrow
2. get refocused on proteins first and water/tea only (no sodas, ugh!) - see above lol
3. get all vitamins/supplements in daily and on schedule - check, check, check - YAY!
4. figure out how to make deeper friendships so that I have people to turn to instead of food. I find myself still keeping people at a distance and I don't know how to fix that. I have met so many wonderful people in the past year and I love them, but I still keep a wall up. I have no idea why. - thanks to some wonderful people and their hammers and picks, the walls I keep up are slowly starting to crack . . .gotta keep working on it
