Today is my first day on the 2 week pre-op diet. This is probably going to be rough, but the light at the end of the tunnel is surgery in two weeks!

I am so ready for surgery!

You hang in there girl with that liquid diet and take one day at a time.    Remember to focus on the end goal of a shrunk liver and a easier time during the surgery.    You will do great....we ALL know that.   We are here for you if you need us.   Bless you !!!

Hugs and blessings ~~~~ Vivian

Thank you Gina and Vivian! I've made it through day 1. Lunch time was the hardest, I think. Lunch is usually my largest meal of the day, and I had a hard time just drinking a shake. It helps that I can have snacks of SF jello, pudding, and popsicles, and I can have cucumbers.

Good morning.  It's really quiet here in my house with no tv...figured I better save my tivo for later in the day and tonight.  Directv won't be here until tomorrow morning sometime.  It's like living w/o cigarettes to me...I'll try to keep myself busy doing other things.

I have to go to Walmart this morning and Lowe's...groceries and a new ho****er heater.   Ben and I will try to get the ho****er heater put in and my stepdad will come help if we need him.

Prayers for all who need them.  Meggie...hope you get out of the hospital soon.

Annette...glad you're headache is gone.

Go Kathy go on the shakes...I hope hubby's back heals soon!

Get a plan for eating and stick to it...join us in August Adventure for accountability!

Good morning Train Riders!  We're starting off another wonderful week.  This weekend was full of fun, friends and lots of activities for me.  Had a blast on Sat with the girls shopping after IKEA, then fun at the pool yesterday with Annette & Matt.  Unfortunately the dogs had too much fun.  My poor Leo tore up all four of his feet running around the pool for an hour and a half.  He's so miserable he won't even walk around the house.  Already spoke to the vet, they don't have any appointments but the do have some spray on pad protector that I'll swing by and pick up after work.  It's supposed to protect and help heal his pads.  Hopefully in a day or two he'll be back to his annoying, ADHD self.

Gearing up for a busy day at work, I left early Friday so I've got some catch up to do on my big project.  I've got to finish up preparing about 2000 orders by mid week this week so I can get the over to the phone company to start working them.  Plus do my normal chasing invoices and disputing charges.  Lots fun coming my way.

Jeff finally got my computer fixed so I'm officially back to playing WoW again.  I'm hoping to get some time in the game with my Dad this week.  It's been a long time since we've been able to and I miss the bonding time we get while we're playing.

Please say some prayers for Jeff today at 10.  He's got an interview with a surveillance company for a 30 hr a week job building computers.  Several guys from our church work there and that's where he got the lead from.  I'm hoping it works out as the hours would be perfect for now so he could really push his schooling and work at the same time.

Hope everyone has a great day!  Good luck and lots of prayers going out to our vets who are refocusing their eating plans today.  It's going to be hot again so make sure to get all your fluids in!

Poor Leo.  I guess he needs some spray-on teflon next time.  We had fun with y'all yesterday too.

Saying extra prayers for Jeff.

It definitely must have, he's off doing a drug test right now!  They haven't officially offered the job yet, pending drug & background check, but it's definitely looking positive.  I haven't heard him this positive and confident about an interview yet, so the prayers sure helped!
