OT - Dirt Track Racing

Hey Vicki -

From Mesquite we take 635/20 West through Grand Prairie and Arlington.  Follow the signs that say Abilene  ...  LOL   The exit is for Mansfield Highway (and I think it also says Business 287).  It's a left exit right after a big curve to go towards Abilene, so you would want to be in the left hand lane after you pass through Arlington.

Once on Mansfield Hwy, go about 2 miles maybe and turn right at one of the stop lights.  They actually have a green highway department sign that says RACETRACK>>>   Stay on that road and there will be a drag strip on the right, Cowtown Speedway on the left and just a little past Cowtown take a right and follow the signs to Kennedale Speedway Park.

thank you... its sounds like fun.... I don't know where my DH is... he has been gone all day... he was supposed to help at church until 930.... so he is helping someone... so he may be too tired... but if not, I would love to check this out..

King just got home and it seems the other woman is a bit *****y today.  She won't start and stay running and he is out of patience with her.

We will still be going to be spectators, but he won't be racing.  He'll more than likely be enjoying a few silver bullets and doing a bit, well a lot, of bs'ing with friends.
