I admire BRENDA!! I got to meet her at the Houston dinner last week. She is beautiful inside and out!!

I admire my lovely wife. My guinea pig. I honestly was afraid to have the WLS, so I let her go first. 18 months later, I figured she was going to live, so I might as well too.
In spite of all her medical issues, she continues on, thinking of others first. She had a part time job which she lost because she chose to help out family members. Some people would have tried to help on their schedule, but Mary put the family schedule first and let the job go by the wayside. Maybe not the responsible thing to do jobwise, but family comes first, last, and always to her.
She has had, including WLS, over 40 surgeries in the last 15 years. She has Parkinsons Disease. She was confined to a wheelchair when out in public. She was on the verge of suicide and spent ten days in a Mental Health Home.
In spite of it all, she continues on.
Now she is more active than she has ever been since I have known her. She is like the Energizer Rabbit.
And she is the woman I love.
