Tuesday Mission/Strength
Good Morning TMB,
I hope Monday was good to you. Mine was "okay". I hate filing and spent most of my work day doing that. Oh well it comes with the territory right?! Today marks 5 months since I lost my baby boy. It doesn't matter that it hits every 21st of the month. A mother needs no reminders that her child isn't physically here. I ask that you guys keep me in much prayer today because I know at times I struggle so very hard. Some people think "time has passed, aren't you over it yet?" Though I moved to Round Rock to start a new life with David, the fact remains, old life, new life, I am missing my son. It will always be that way.
To Kris M. your words from the last time I saw you ring loud in my thoughts today. I love you!

People who think you should be over it already have never lost someone truly close to them. Grief is a long, non-linear process and for people to treat it like it is is ignorant on their part. The pain never truly goes away, but it does get to a point where it's manageable.

Nina- my prayers are with you. People want you to be "over it" because it makes them more comfortable. Just ignore them. I hope today is filled with good memories of your son. Be kind to yourself today-do something just for you today-even if its a walk at lunch outside someplace quiet-if its not raining of course.
