Since getting my little unfill so my band wasn't slammed shut I've put on 3-4 pounds.  I want to lose 10 by September for the conference.  Gotta look HOT in my dress and if I keep the scale going up that's not gonna happen.  Soooooo, starting today with coffee and then a CIB.
NO CARBS beyond what's in the shake
s and my creamer.  No more pasta.  Protein and veggies and mostly protein.  GOTTA lose at least 10!!!

Good morning Train Riders!!  I had a really good day yesterday.  Started off with 15 min on the Elliptical.  I love that I can do that now, I remember when 4 min would kick my butt.  Went to church and was energized and inspired as usual.  Then lunch with the family at Cheddars.  Went and got Jeff a hair cut so he looks respectable for job interviews, then finished up grocery shopping at Walmart.  Needless to say by the time we got home I was pooped.  I pushed myself a bit too far, and Jeff had to finish putting up the groceries, but after I rested some I felt much better.

Today is going to be another good, busy day.  Project and regular daily stuff at work, then home for a bit, and then my favorite peeps time at the Allen Outlet Mall.  At some point tonight Jeff and I have to go over the budget, make adjustments and print up business cards and resumes for him.  Hopefully I can get some of the printing done before support group tonight and then we can finish up everything else before bed tonight.

Jeff went to an Asperger's conference on Sat and came back with lots of tidbits of info.  There is going to be a movie that is released in August that we're going to go see.  It's called Adam, and it's about a young man with Asperger's who meets and falls in love with a non-Asperger's woman.  Hmm, sound familiar?  It looks really good from the trailer, and I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Ok, must get to work now and earn my keep.  I hope everyone has a fantastic day and enjoys the "cold front" we've got.  LOL

Good morning
Its been a rough day, we lost power during the night (got a little warm), then when it came back on the air conditioner was on high and I woke up at 4 freezing (can't win for loosing). I'm feeling pretty sleep deprived but are working on getting some caffeine in. My goal today is to make smart choices on food.

Good morning.  I slept in until 7:00 this morning.  That was nice.  My husband came home to bring our golf cart and try to help Ben fix an electrical outlet in our den that went out.  They got really hot and sweaty in the attic and never found the right wires to pull to re-wire it.  I guess I'll call an electrician, but will probably just wait until it's cooler.  I hate to ask someone to climb up there when it's 100 degrees.  It's been out a while, so it can wait.  I'm just tired of having a big orange extension cord running across the room to plug in the tv, dvd player, Wii, Playstation, etc.

Today is paint the bedroom hall day and ben will work on the 2 new doors for my bedroom and the 3rd bedroom.  He replace his himself a few months ago because the dog could push his old one open.

It did rain some about 5:00 or so this morning.  Thank heavens, because it's been a couple of months.  I had jus****ered last night because we're only allowed to water on Sundays and Thursdays.  Maybe it will rain some more this week.

Prayers for all who need them.  Have a great Monday!

Join us for accountability in our July Journey...I'm trying to de-carb some more myself right now.  It's always a struggle.  Makes me wish  I could be a newbie and have that bright, sunny, "I'll never have to eat much again...I can do this hi protein only forever" attitude!  Carbs are evil and I wish I had never started eating any, but that's not realistic.

I went to the circus yesterday.  I haven't been to a circus in decades and I swear the tigers were the same ones I saw then.  they seemed so old.  they walked very slowly and were quite lethargic.  If it wasn't so sad it would have been funny.  Also I don't know how people managed to afford what I saw being spent.  Programs were $14.  Oh but you did get a cheap plastic backpack with purchase.  Cotton candy was $12 again a cheap plastic top hat came with it.  the food was the usual expensive prices but not any worse than a ball game etc.  I just couldn't believe people would buy cotton candy or programs at those prices.  do you really need to know whatever is printed in those.  especially kiddos that are 5 and younger.  hello... they can't read.  maybe one per family but one per child?  get real.  I am blessed.  My DH has a good job and we do not have to count pennies but i would not pay those prices.  to me it is just stupid.  in this economy i think it is awful to push that cr@@ on families who obviously can't say no to the younguns.
