Collective Prayer for Elizabeth Grace (please pray w/ me)
Hi, Everyone.
I hope you don't mind a Texas-born, South Carolina-raised, Kansas-transplanted southerner posting on your forum. I was notified by a sweet friend about Elizabeth Grace. I have read Butterfly Reborn's posts about her and have visited the Caring Bridge web site.
I feel those of us who are believers and willing to pray should pray a collective prayer. If you are willing, would you pray the following prayer with me, then simply reply that you prayed? It is my hope that many will reply that they prayed, and that Butterfly Reborn will copy and paste the entire thread in an email and send it to Elizabeth Grace's parents, to encourage them and plump up their faith to believe for healing. :)
"Heavenly Father, we come boldly to Your Throne of Grace, as You have said we can do. We bring before You Your child, Elizabeth Grace. Father, we call upon Your grace, mercy, and compassion. We call upon the healing that Your precious Son and our Savior paid for on the Cross. Your Word says that 'By His stripes we were healed' and 'are healed.' All those praying this prayer with me and I call Elizabeth healed, in the Name of Jesus. Father, You created this precious baby, so You know exactly how to fix her. Your Word says that we should 'call things that be not as though they were,' so, according to Your Word, we declare and believe and see with our eyes of faith that Elizabeth is healed, from the top of her little head to the tips of her tiny toes. We declare that Elizabeth's kidneys are perfect, and we call them forth to work perfectly. With our eyes of faith, Father, we see Elizabeth perfectly whole, playing and running and laughing and living and growing up to love and serve You all the days of her life. Lord, Your Word says that 'believers shall lay hands on the sick, and the sick shall recover.' 'Shall' means 'will,' not 'might.' We thank You that there is no distance in prayer, so, in prayer, we are laying hands on this precious baby, and we say 'Elizabeth Grace, rise and be healed, in the Name of Jesus.' We know that from this moment on, Elizabeth Grace is in recovery. We will focus on every improvement, and the only diagnosis we will accept is that Elizabeth Grace is healed and whole, in every way. We see it, we speak it, and we are on tip toe to watch it happen. We know that there is no sickness in Your Kingdom, so, in obedience, we pray that Your will, which is perfect health, healing, and wholeness be done on earth, as it is in heaven, and may it be done in Elizabeth's body. We pray all of this in the precious Name of Jesus, who said, 'Let the little children come to Me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.' Amen [let it be so]."
Thank you for praying, everyone, and please continue to pray for Elizabeth Grace.
Blessings,
Mary
