The NIGH****CHMAN - Wednesday - 7/8
Worked too hard last night. Had a ridiculous customer that really ticked me off. Tried to escalate over me and the supervisor would not take the call. Made me look so good. Ha!
Prayer requests are listed below.
Also, please feel free to just visit here. Tell us about how your day went. Your successes. Your failures. Your fun. Whatever. When I post this thread, I do not have access to any chat programs, so this sometimes substitute as that vessel for me.
Continue to keep your thoughts and prayers for the members of our Armed Forces serving around the world, especially during this time of increased awareness. Please thank God for these men and women every day. In addition, please keep the wives and family members in your thoughts.

Sorry you got a crabby customer last night. Hopefully tonight will be much better. Well....the Union and Bell go back to the negoations table tomorrow sometimes. I am praying this thing will ALL be over very very soon !!!! Son's car went into the shop today and it is going to cost us $700 to get it out. OUCH !!! Not good timing at all. Anyway I would appreciate the prayers with me that this will all be over and agreed upon tomorrow. The company has to be hurting although they are saying that they aren't !!!
Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian
GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

All the kids are busy this summer - we've had trips and camps and it all never seems to end. When they go to their Dad's house, I don't know what to do with myself so I just wor****il late in to the night.
My lap band has slipped and I am trying to figure out how to correct it. I haven't posted about it here really b/c I feel as though I am a failure and don't want others to be affected negatively.
I will really try to be better on posting and at least reading. Perhaps that will inspire me.

My Message to You -- shared by Loralea http://blog.loralea.com
Sorry you had a crappy night last night. Hopefully tonight will be better.
I think I may finally be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I got up this morning at 6:45 (alarm was set for 7), got ready, went to TWC. I think my organization and professional appearance paid off today. I always dress like I'm going to meet with a client and take a spreadsheet of what I've been doing. Even though they never ask for it, I've started referencing it in conversation so they get how seriously I take this. Today, my counselor finally clued in that I'm not looking for a job in San Antonio and asked how the search is going in DFW. I pulled out my print out and told her that of the three phone interviews I'd had since last week, the interview scheduled for tomorrow, the four interviews and the job fair I'm registered for next week. She asked what days I was going to be in DFW. I told her Tues-Thurs and she told me that I can email her on Thursday night with a recap and don't have to make a personal appearance next week. That will save me two hours and 42 miles on my car on Monday so I'm very pleased. I'm hoping I can finagle it so I only have to report in person bi-weekly.
On the way home from TWC, I did a Goodwill drop off. I got home, checked email, changed clothes and start the final prep on the house before the realtor arrived for the walk through. She called at 12:40 to let me know she was going to be a little late. She arrived at 1:30 and we were done by 2:15. I only had to take 5 more photos off of the walls and she recommended that I rearrange the living room furniture. I actually took the photos down while we were walking through, but I need to wrap and pack them. After she left, I went to Chase to pull money off of my TWC debit card, Sonic for Happy Hour and BofA to deposit the money into our checking account. I came back, paid a couple bills, grabbed my bags of books to sell and went to 1/2 Price. After selling my books, I went to see Isaac about how to make my hair look more respectable for my interviews next week. He colored it and we decided that the cut could last a little longer.
I got home, had dinner and I am taking the night off. I have Wipeout on and I'm doing some research for my interview tomorrow, but I'm not planning to clean anything tonight.
Prayers for all who need them tonight. I'll be around for a while.
