I use to tell my kids I was 29 every year on my birthday.    My son, five at the time, said "Mom, how come you've been 29 for three years in a row".  

Now they say "I'm as old as dirt".  I don't think 40 something is old.    

that works for me :)
my grandfather was 80 when he died, still insisted he was 29 lol
