pssssst...DANNI...and as of 6:50 this morning my guy from yesterday is still alive and I'm going back there this morning....working DAYS again...8am-8pm (if shift lasts that long--I never know, of course)...this is a PRECIOUS little man, in a kinda yucky nursing home, but he has a WONDERFUL family, and I really enjoyed caring for him yesterday...would really like the opportunity to "see him on out"...would be a real blessing for ME...I'm being selfish here, I know, but he's is such such a cool lil guy!

Good Morning, TMB!!!

I am up but not completely awake.  Got out to my car last nite and put the key in, turned it and nothin........dead battery.......so, waited until after 7 for someone to jump start it and headed out to get a new battery.  FINALLY made it home around 9.  Got the battery at Walmart so I had a place to grab some dinner and a book while I waited.....what a crappy way to start the week.

SO, now that's behind me and I have a new battery for the rest of the summer. Speaking of summer, have you been drinking lots of water?  I think I drank 3 ~ 16oz bottles waiting for roadside assistance to get to the parking lot.  Are you taking your vitamins??  Please don't forget the all too important vitamins!!

Good Morning All,
LOVED all that rain we got yesterday.  We needed it so badly. After it was all over I let the girls go outside and get in their new swimming pool I got for them and set up Sunday.  It's not real big, just 6x4.  They had a ball.  It was still overcast so wasn't to hot.  Hope to let them get out there again today.  Worked on ribbon rythum sticks last night to put into favor bags for Caroline's birthday party Sat.  They are fun for kids to play with and gets them moving.  Have a few more to do today.  I have a purple castle birthday cake to do for Sat. so I need to get to planning on how to do that too.  Y'all have a great one.

Carol - my life is crazy but I love baking/cooking so it is relaxing - if you need help with the cake hollar - I love doing fun/fancy cakes would be glad to come over and help if you need me- and would consider it a break/treat - that woudl be why I am doing a cooking class the week before I leave town LOL

Thanks for the offer.  However, the party is at 10 Sat. morning, so I'll be doing it Fri.  I love doing cakes like this too.  I'm lucky that I have 3 GS's to do cakes for.  Used to do them all the time but no more.  Gained too much doing them! :)  I'll try to figure out how to post a picture after I'm finished with it.  It was very sweet of you to offer, especially given all the things you have going on right now.  Praying for Tim with his knee situation and you for the move.  We will certainly miss you and Rachel but know you are going where you need to be.

Good morning Train Riders!  Gearing up for another busy day here.  Trying to finish out a couple of projects at work before the weekend, so I'm not getting much time to catch up on the boards.  Tonight I've got a short list of things to do at home before I can relax, so I've got to manage my time well today.

I stayed more on track food wise yesterday and feel a bit more in control than I have.  I'm going to continue on that track and hope that I can get things going back in the direction that I want.  I'd really like to start dropping weight again, but for now will be satisfied with getting back into my good habits again.
