WLS Express - Saturday
I was up at 6:30 but laid around until now. Have some time to goof off on the computer before we get ready for RNS.
Well next Sat I'll hopefully have my honey home from surgery and resting nicely. I'm so incredibly proud of him for going through this liquid diet phase. I know its been super hard. And he's been so great to continue to make dinner for us while he drinks his shake. I offered to cook these few weeks but I think he was worried to let me loose in HIS kitchen. lol. Anyway, I love him to pieces and soon I'll have less of him to love!!!
I'm getting excited about my family visiting in 3 weeks as well. We all love to joke and kid with each other and we just laugh and laugh. My dad is the best at those zingers towards others- all in good fun though, never mean. And he always has a joke. I'm just praying Miss Emily can make the trip. She's been having ear infections despite having tubes in, and now the pediatrician said she needs to see the ENT to get clearance to fly and to discuss possibly re-doing the tubes. Her appt is 7/7 so we'll see-fingers crossed and prayers said.
Tonight I'm working the Light for Night for Sight fundraiser at Alcon -they do it every year to raise money for their vision programs. I'm working the booth. Hope we continue to have a breeze so its not too hot.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Good Morning Becky and My TMB Family,
Becky I know how hard it is to let our kids go for any length of time away from us especially when there is no contact. Just have faith that God is with her and watchingover the rest of the group. Ok wll I just had a huge long email done and someone this supid computer erased it so not going to type it all oer again. Unpacking and more upacking to do today, and golf lesson this morning. Looking forward to it. It is my last one. Will look forward now to geting out and playing 9 holes. Just wi**** was not so expensive. Oh well. Danni are the movers moving you or are you moving yourself? I hope the movers are better for you then they were for me. The ones we had sucked. Time to get a move on. Prayers for those in need this morning. Liz hope you are feeling better. I am looking forward to seeing everyone on the 11th. Have a blessed day. Love ou guys. Michelle
Have fun tubing w/ everyone. I wish I was there with ya'll tubing. I have my own commercial tube and can't use it this year since we're going to Port A instead of the river.
I have to just do things around the house today like get more stuff together for our beach vacation, make Texas Trash and Spicy Crackers for the trip, etc.
Prayers for all who need them.
Have a great Saturday.

VICKIE-so glad you chose to "ride" today. I do believe it the quickest way to get to "know" everyone and have them know YOU. Weekends are naturally a lil slow, so you may not see alot of posts/replies, but hng in there and keep on riding!
I spent many summers in Amarillo, as a child, with my granny, so I know how special your grandbabies are feeling right now. I have no idea "what part" of town it was in, but she lived on Cline Road and there was a huge city park right down the street. Those are some of my very fave childhood memories.
HAve FUN with those grandbabies!!

forgiveness is giving up the hope that the past could be any different
BECKY..well I DO know it's an 8 hr teip on a Greyhound bus from HERE..lol...that's how I used to travel, as a kid, to go see my granny...to drive from here is about 5-6 hrs, I think...from "down there"...sheesh.....with a bunch of teenagers...don't even want to think about it!!!!
Chris has been gone this week-will be back this afternoon. His youth dept went to a camp just 40 miles away-but with no cell phone access, etc, he might as well be on another planet. He has been gone 4 days. Give me another 4 WEEKS, and I might start to miss him...
