I just got sick....

I tried to eat some Chick-fil-a nuggets, which were great after my initial lap band surgery because they are plenty of protein, but after my port revision a little over three weeks ago I don't seem to be able to eat chicken in any form, chicken or egg, no matter how much I chew it.

Just in case you were wondering....

 I'm sorry your having a tough time, I know how Texans love their Chick-fil-a. That has to be so frustrating after being able to eat them before. Hope your feeling better.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with food right now.  Why did you have your port revised?  Did you go low profile, or did you experience a leak?  BTW, Dr. Yu is also my surgeon!  He is wonderful!

Actually my port flipped and the anchors pulled loose from the muscle. I didn't know I was having any problems at all until I needed a fill and Dr. Yu found nothing but plastic when he instered the needle.

Dr. Yu also did my mom's surgery, we've both been really happy with him! A fellow that I work with is having surgery with him next month.

I am almost three years out, and my compliments to him all the way.  He is capable, smart, and compassionate!  Dr. Yu is just great!
