You might want to check in with a bariatrics office or nurse on the Pepto...it has salicylites like aspirin (I know that's spelled wrong but you get the gist).  I had it some kind of bug and I had diahrea for a whole week..............was really worried and didn't really have any other symptoms.  I went to the doctor and he gave me something stronger than Imodium but the PA told me at the dr. office I didn't take it right cause you are suppose to take it after each time youg go....

The bottom line is that it finally went away.  I ate yogurt and anything else I could find with probiotics in it and lots of fluids every day.

Goodness, I wished I had known all of this before taking the Pepto. What an ugly pain that was...burning in my tummy  :-(
At least I know better for next time.

The consensus definitely is a bug...goodness. I am on day 4 and so I hope it goes away soon. It even kept me from joining in Kung fu today...Yuck.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated.
Hugs,

Jessica

Hugs Jess!!  Not sure if this would help at all, but immediately after surgery I had diarrhea for several days.  My surgeon told me to eat some yogurt with active cultures in it to help out.  Kroger has a low carb Kroger brand yogurt that's pretty good (low sugar, good flavor) that helped me out.  Definitely make sure you are staying hydrated!!

Definitely trying to stay hyrated...
Thanks again.

Be careful with Pepto.  It contains aspirin or something like aspirin.

Thanks Danni.
I discovered teh hard way that Pepto isn't good for you (ouchy tummy) and so if it continues through tomorrow I will find me some immodium...and maybe yogurt too.

Hope you are doing well.
Thanks for all your help!!
Hugs,
Jessica
